Real middle class folk don’t quit en masse because some hard ass boss comes in and starts demanding that people actually “work” for their money (i.e. show up at the office, fcuk this “work from home” remote stuff, “middle class” don’t get that luxury). Real middle class, the ones willing to work hard, would see that as an opportunity; at the very least, they toil away until they find another job.
That’s what I’m referring to, come back to real life for a second.
Imo, history has shown the greatest periods of whateveryouwantacallit under a benign, competent “dictator” type. Unfortunately, genetics does not guarantee that the successor is of equal abilities, and the inevitable swing of the pendulum to the opposite extreme often ensues.

I don’t give a shit about Twitter employees and whether they had pink hair, used pronouns and spent all of their waking hours doing absolutely nothing for a six figure salary. I’m focusing on how a bunch of disenfranchised people turned billionaire worshippers were very emotionally invested in their employment and supposed perks. Resentment is a powerful drug.
And it’s very often a complete shit show after the benevolent dictator dies or grows old and starts losing control over his faculties. Think of tensions in a society as a string that’s constantly being coiled. In a chaotic democracy, even a multipolar oligarchy the tension from said proverbial spring can be regularly released by protests, strikes, fistfights in a representative body etc.
In a dictatorship that always projects the veneer of stability - the old story how trains run on time, the streets are clean etc. - the string slowly gets coiled unseen until it breaks. For years or decades. The breaking moment can be a adventurous war, an economic crisis, whatever. And then a bunch of people die and chaos ensues.
Therefore, paradoxically although a dictatorship seems more stable and more appealing to outside observers and/or fanboys it’s much more fragile that another country in supposedly perpetual chaos.
See above - the dictator by virtue of him being a dictator was responsible for the ensuing chaos.

This guy is so brazen it’s almost admirable sarcasm -when he was in the midst of a recall election crisis, CA had an “unexpected” budget surplus of $76 Billion. “Fast forward” one! whole year, and CA is expecting a “stunning” reversal to an expected $25 Billion deficit. I recall my buddy in SF and I laughing our arses off when the budget surplus was announced; as an UCSF employee, he got his raise out of it, but neither one of us believed the “surplus” for a second, aaand…here we be:

THEN 3 different spinal cord stimulators, a medicine pump implant that holds 20ml of morphine solution at 2mg/ml. None of these were efficacious.
After observing her results I tried some Rick Simpson Oil while we were vacationing in a recreational state, and after all the docs tried, big pharma failing, it worked! Since then I’ve analyzed the chemical composition of cannabis as deeply as possible and I have college level chemistry knowledge. Now I know how to find strains & products with different strains that will duplicate what helps me.
Now for legalization talk.
It’s not presently fully legal in all 50 because of the wealth invested in big pharma IMO. And there’s banking law problems.
When investors either move to or diversify into cannabis related business the fully legal thing will follows. The more profit made in cannabis, the looser the regulations will be,
Lastly, I talked to a guy way up in IT for a pharmaceutical company. Asked his opinion. It was that he expected legalization across the board by Jan 2026. He also concurred with the pharma investors thing.
