I don’t know, murder maybe?
Are you hoping or are you telling the abused ex with a restraining order to hope?

I agree with you in principle, but I don’t consider it a deal-breaker position, especially for a young conservative man like Crenshaw. There’s a lot of “what if?” cases that can weigh really heavily on people if you’re closely connected to them.
I like the idea of a young man who has already built a solid career doing something other than politics entering politics. The fact that his first career involved risking his life in service of the USA is just a cherry on top for me. He seems pretty consistently conservative to me and he’s not afraid to throw himself into the fire.
I’ll take your word for this one, but I’ll also point out the obvious corollary. He put himself out there on Joe Rogan’s podcast.
Who else has been confident enough to do that? I’ve listened to a lot of Rogan but that still leaves a lot of Rogan I haven’t listened to. Tulsi Gabbard and Bernie Sanders are the only national-level politicians I’ve listened to on Rogan that spring to mind. Of course Tulsi went on Rogan. That’s no problem for the most enchanting woman ever to grace the halls of Congress.
Bernie’s been a confident communist for many decades now, never afraid to share his wild notions about governance to anyone who will hear him out. Joe Rogan was and still is a big Bernie fan, which seems incongruent with a lot of other stuff I’ve heard Joe Rogan say. That said, I don’t give Rogan my attention because of his intellectual consistency when speaking to thousands of people across a massive span of topics.
He’s Joe Rogan, and that’s why he’s the best at getting people to speak and keeping it engaging to the listener for hours on end.
Who do you have in mind as the more clear-minded, high-integrity politician with the right ideas about governance who is able to explain them unscripted, under the gun with tens of millions of people listening?
Propaganda is mostly what the U.S. media does. And from reading over the comments here I can see it works to great affect.
You can view Crenshaw’s fumbling his ideas on the Joe Rogan show yourself. And if you still believe in him jeeeshhh, then I know truth is not what you seek. It is who’s side is winning that takes precedence.
So you aren’t ready to back up your ideas by posting the part of a multi hour interview you’re talking about. Got it.
Is there a politician you have in mind who checks your boxes?
Because it works for the government.
You’re right. The founding fathers chose to allow us to remain armed for the sole purpose of murdering others.
If he/she is armed, I don’t see why this is a problem.
I don’t understand your posts man… It seems like no matter what I say you find some opposite end of the spectrum to argue against me. Either you are 100% opposed to everything I say, ever, or we are in a constant state of miscommunication.
That’s not the point. If people need guns because the bad guys have guns, then it means that people have guns for purposes other than defense.
Because that would not guarantee she survives. Plenty of armed people get shot and killed. Cops for example. Sometimes by their own weapons.
That is kind of the point of this forum. Besides, in a country that values free speech and differences of opinion, anyone with a belief or position on an issue should welcome opposing view points. In order to develop a solid, defensible position on an issue you need to be able to argue against it.
You know what man, I thought it might have been worth my time to unblock you but I think I was wrong. I welcome opposing viewpoints, but your sole purpose here is to instigate and poke holes, and frankly it’s a waste of my time.
If you had produced a valid argument, even once, then I would be content with debating the matter, but you never argue more than “what ifs”. This is lazy and honestly quite annoying.
The media is a corporation. They work for profits primarily. Are they in bed with the government? Yes. Only to help further shareholder profits. Corporations rule this country.
Not one in either the 2 major parties. Will find a clip for you so you can watch your intellectual midget hero in action.
So no, you don’t have an example. Just shallow criticism and nothing to back it up. Sure, I’ll get right on listening to that three hour long podcast.
Welcome to the forum, btw. You and zecarlo will get along great. You guys can talk about how everyone is stupid except for you two.
He is over in the heavy metal thread saying the bands are trash (especially if there is any screaming in a song). I think he woke up on the wrong side of the bed or something.
Who creates a training forum account just to post in off-topic, anyway?
Tell that to Disney. People still have the power if they choose to use it.
No. I think he’s an idiot as well.
With regard to Crenshaw, politicians go on many different media platforms and talk a lot. I’m sure if Lincoln had Twitter he would have said some questionable things as well now and then. I don’t think you judge someone just on a few minutes of a podcast. I also think you have to look at the person as a whole and accept that you might not agree with everything that comes out of his mouth but on balance, you find him a reasonable person to represent the public. Finally, we should give people the chance to change and evolve their ideas. So maybe Crenshaw said something silly at one time but if asked about it now, he may be able to articulate his position better. If someone doesn’t like Crenshaw, so be it, I’m not a fan either but in fairness, I don’t find him reprehensible or the worst thing that could happen to this country should he seek higher office. He seems to have been rather consistent in his core beliefs.
Do you think Disney is the rule or exception?
Here is 1/2 of your dream ticket on M4A
And more of his wisdom when it comes to stimulus checks.
Do I think you will be convinced? No, because as I’ve stated truth isn’t what your after just as long as team red is winning.
Yes they do still have the power, if they only realized it. And they are beginning to wake up, with the rise in unionization. One only needs to look at recent union popularity and winnings. Amazon, John Deere and Starbucks to name a few.
It isn’t an “now and then” issue. It’s his political philosophy. And THAT is the problem.
