Oh HELL NO
He’s probably the most well rounded and relatable people in the US… he’s worked about every touch labor job imaginable. Plus he is guaranteed to have more in common with regular people than a 40 year politician or someone with his name on the side of skyscrapers.
I couldn’t think of someone more in tune with the average American.
I have been away from the thread for some time and just saw this. I don’t want to derail but I just wanted to chime in on this.
Though I read MK long ago, like sixteen years ago, I’m certain that both volumes have hardly any or no mention of Germanic folklore, but he did speak of German history at times. And he speaks in detail about how he became anti-Semitic through his own experiences and observations, by his own volition. At first he even denounced German anti-Semitism when he was young.
He was not influenced by French anti-Semitism and repeatedly criticized France, referred to France as a threat to the white race in Europe, said the French were obsessed with “negroid ideas”, and that the French were bound up in the supposedly Jewish aim of world domination. He had heaps of criticism for France.
Sometimes when people speak of MK, I wonder whether they actually read it.
Yes, he was, as French antisemitism influenced the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. And Hitler was influenced by the Protocols.
That makes no sense. Why would he do nothing? Is that going to be his campaign slogan?
I would vote for someone who said they wouldn’t sign a single piece of legislation while in office over someone supporting a liberal agenda. If Rowe had ran and won in 2020 and didn’t change anything we’d be so much better off than we are now.
A president does more than sign legislation and it can still pass without his signature.
You’re 100% right. Brandon signed an executive order that killed the Keystone pipeline and I got to watch gas go up by 0.50/gal in a week. He also signed an executive order that not only funded domestic abortions, but helped with abortion access internationally.
Lets see what else… Oh, he also mandated that all federal contractors/employees be vaccinated and ended the “remain in mexico” policy, which resulted in over 1,000,000 illegal immigrants since he took office.
He did all of this with the stroke of a pen after the people who bankrolled him finished drafting it
Would you still rather have a senile fool who knows only how to sign documents and read from a teleprompter as president, or would you be happier with a literal “do nothing” president? I’d take the latter.
OK. I’d vote for him if he said he wouldn’t sign legislation or issue executive orders. And ideally no one in Congress would have a veto-proof majority.
It all depends on what those changes are. As long as you’re growing in the right direction, then I wholeheartedly agree with you.
I watched Crenshaw get demolished by Joe Rogan just by asking to explain his positions. Dan fumbled and made a complete fool of himself when Rogan pushed back. And he is part pof your dream ticket? Is it any wonder this country continues to go down the tubes. Vote for a Republican or Democrat and you are voting for the continued destruction of our country and even planet.
Do you have this clip of Dan Crenshaw, foolish idiot?
I’ve seen many clips of him expressing himself very well, clearly outlining positions I agree with. I also generally support his voting record in Congress. Then again, I haven’t seen the combat veteran and US Navy officer beclown himself the way you say he has. Maybe you’re right, and my entire take on him is foolish, like Crenshaw himself.
Meanwhile, Democrats continue their attack against the 1st Amendment in brazen ways. Elon Musk sure seems to getting the leftists to start saying the quiet part out loud. Just what we’ve always needed, a Ministry of Truth!
What the fuck is a “Disinformation GOVERNANCE Board”? That’s scary as hell. Thank God Trump got so many Supreme Court justices
Something that has already existed in some form. During wars, the enemy has always waged disinformation campaigns, or what we could call propaganda. We’ve done it and had it done to us. We’ve also made use of ways to combat it.
That is something that will never exist because it’s an impossibility. The president has to do things. Literally.
You’re changing your question.
I know which one he’s talking about, but I’m having trouble finding it in a standalone version. All the videos I’ve found so far have a talking head of some kind commenting. I can link one of those if you don’t mind the annoyance.
He’s right that Crenshaw did a poor job on Rogan, at least in the segment he’s referring to. I think Crenshaw generally shines with softball questions, or non-interview videos he makes by himself. I don’t agree with a lot of his positions, but I can see his appeal.
I agreed with most of his stuff until he came out in support of red flag gun laws… That’s just one of those lines in the sand you can’t come back from
How would you handle situations where say an abusive ex is making threats or a family member is talking about suicide? The places where there are red flag laws have had substantial decrease in suicides. I don’t know how I come down on the issue myself, but I agree it’s a line you can’t come back from.
In the role where my opinion on this matters (which it doesn’t), I would stick to my current opinion of nay on red flag gun laws. As horrible and tragic as these situations can get, these laws can be used by any government agency to legally disarm you for any justification they feel like whipping up. Not to get up on the podium, but what is the purpose of being armed if not to protect yourself from anyone who wishes harm to you, your family, or your freedom?
I’d love to be able to interpret red flag gun laws in good faith, but I honestly can’t. There can’t be a grey area where we trust the establishment to make choices for us like this. They already don’t follow their own laws (Stellar Winds) as they are now, so why would we give them even more leniency?
As sad as my answer to your question is, my answer is to still allow them to have posession of their weapons and hope they see reason… all other answers have too high a propencity to be taken advantage of.
