2020 Presidential Race

Bet they are getting itchy these days when the fast forward from the article shows a lot of GOP voter corruption

Edit: I also find it hilarious that despite the GOP screaming about voter ID cards for decades, they refuse to hand over records at such a high rate

Can’t help but notice the guy is also the author of “Clinton Cash.”

Isn’t the Heritage Foundation the place that essentially provided an early model for Obamacare? You know that thing they were all for in the 90’s before a black Democrat suggested it?

Man, I knew I only opposed Obamacare because I’m a racist. Thanks for confirming that. I was pretty sure there was no other reason to oppose it, but I wasn’t totally sure until now.

Hmm? I don’t think I said you can’t oppose Obamacare or you’re a racist did I? It has plenty of things in it that I opposed.

Why throw in “black,” then?

With all this talk of financing daycare and M4A and the New Green Deal, this was fun to re-visit today.

Didn’t put any thought into it one way or the other. He was a black democrat

Right. Believable. You’re telling me that you’re so race-obsessed that you unwittingly mention race(even when the person mentioned is no more one race than another) alongside political affiliation?

I’m race obsessed?

Good to know.

If you unwittingly mention someone’s race when talking about something that has nothing to do with race, I would say so. Of course, that’s not what happened.

Ok. I’d say you’re getting your panties in a wad over nothing but I’ll assume that would make me sex obsessed.

Think what you want.

If you mention skin color it means you assume they’re anti that skin color.

Logic went out the window a good while ago

It only means that when you mention someone’s race as being the reason the reason for opposition to something proposed by that someone. @H_factor has indicated that he meant nothing by it when he wrote “black Democrat.” I can’t imagine mentioning someone’s race when it has nothing to do with what I’m talking about. “Democrat” would seem perfectly fine to point out some political hypocrisy. “Black” either added nothing(and would be a strange thing to mention for no reason, in 2019), or was intended to imply racism was part of the reason for the Heritage Foundation’s opposition.

Except I didn’t say that. Like I said think what you want, I wasn’t trying to start a race debate and in no means attempted to make an argument that you are racist. Although I’m sure more than one person opposed the plan who used to support the idea behind it based on who delivered it. And sure his skin color may have helped shape some people’s opinion of that though I wasn’t trying to make that argument. Maybe it did maybe it didn’t.

It wasn’t a huge deal. I was just poking light at Republicans seeming to agree with the Heritage Foundation now.

Or was intended to imply racism was part of the reason citizens opposed a bill.

Or a slew of reasons.

Butttttt, logic has indeed already flown the coop, so hell if I know

It really was a throwaway type post. Just having some fun pointing out the author’s book and the Heritage Foundation. Nothing more, nothing less.

Sall good. Getting outraged at fake racism accusations seems to be a pretty common thing these days.

Gotta get mad about something I guess

In fairness, I’m sure the chap has worked rather hard to escape the ‘weed smoking jamaican’ trope. I’d probably be annoyed to, were I him.
