I’ve been out of BB for a while now but I’ve followed Shaun on IG for years now.
I’ve always been impressed with his mindset let alone his physique. Although when I first discovered him I thought his bone structure was too small to make any serious waves.
He’s obviously disproved that a while ago and this just further cements that.
I think he’s been called the giant killer or slayer. Something to that effect.
Well deserved in my opinion.
Yeah, I remember watching Shaun (and competing against his old training partner way back when -lol) And thinking that as good as he was, his structure and high calves would keep him from the big shows… I’m very happy to gave been proven wrong. He’s always been a good guy and I’m genuinely proud of him.
I don’t see Phil retaking the title.

This was disappointing man. I am a fan but he deserves a lot of shit from fans acting holier than thou.
There is no Mr O on that stage imo. Only Mr “this guy doesn’t look the shittiest”.
I don’t agree with all the hate from 90s bbers etc but holy shit did these current guys make it easy to agree with Dorian etc.

Most muscular is usually a “lights out” pose for Phil but he looks a bit of a mess here. You can also see how much Brandon’s legs let him down in this shot. Maybe Ramy could get this one? Is Aceto coaching him this year?
I think Dennis James and Chad Nicholls are working with Ramy, if I recall correctly.

I know his name is Big Ramy but he really is making these other monsters look small. That isn’t a perfect angle but those legs like 50% bigger than anyone else.
Best Conditioning I’ve ever seen Ramy bring. I think this is also his lightest stage weight in recent memory (~275?)

What do you guys think of Cbum vs Breon in Classic Physique? I think Chris has got it this year again. His back has improved a hell of a lot since last year and his legs look huge from the front in some poses.

He said he weighed in at 179. I’d love to see what he’d look like moving to 212.
CBum looks phenominal. His improvements from last year…incredible. I love the lighting and black backdrop for the 212 and Classic…don’t know why they didn’t use the same black backdrop for the open. I just think it would showcase the physiques much more.
In my humble opinion, Phil shouldn’t win. Did he look good? Yes, but like so many others focusing on the midsection, it just looks incomplete. He seems to be missing some abs (lower).
I disappointed Roelly couldn’t make it, but what an open it still is turning out to be. Love Brandon’s shape…but I have to give it to Ramy.
