Suspended rest of the season, no pay, including offseason.

Obviously the NFL’s safety concerns are a total sham, I agree with you, but I’m just happy this shithead finally got an appropriate punishment.

Gronk should have been suspended for the whole season after he drove his arm cast down onto the back of that rookie kids head last season.

That reminds me of the day I became a JuJu fan.

He gets suspended for the year and Jonathon Jones gets a 15 yard penalty. The Colts player was basically down, so that makes the Burfict hit worse, but the NFL is all over the place these last two seasons.

I think it has to do with repeat offender status. If you egregiously break the rules and try and maim someone one time. They fine you and dole out a short term punishment, assuming you’ll change your ways.

Plus it gives you the benefit of the doubt, it’s a fast game and mistakes happen.

They don’t bring out the ban hammer until you’ve proven that you’re not learning. Burfict tried to take out a player’s knee on the sidelines at ASU, he was benched for too many personal fouls there, he celebrated after hurting Bell, dove at the back of Big Ben’s knee after the ball was gone, decapitated Brown (driving him mad), he twisted Cam Newton’s freshly healed ankle at the bottome of the pile and now this: head hunting a guy when tapping his shoulder would make him down.

This guy makes Suh look like a quire boy.

Oh it’s not an “I think” thing, you’re correct - the league straight up told him in a letter and to everyone else, he’s a repeat offender, we told him an offense would bring dire consequences after the other ones. He’s led the league in suspensions, penalties, and fines for some time now.

But just to reminisce…this was one of the most egregious penalties I have ever seen. And a one game suspension, no ejection. Winds up before dropping an elbow brace on the back of the guys head.

Burfict is in a league of his own, for sure.

But the other two egregious fouls were both Patriots, just saying.

Find me a top 3 defense from any year without being aggressive or getting some penalties and I’ll show you some blown calls

Your homer side is showing, because the Gronk video had nothing to do with being on defense.

Also, that Jonathan Jones play would not have seriously bothered me because “that’s aggressive football”, and I’ve seen plays where it can be hard not to hit someone in the wrong way; so I agree a little bit with what you’re saying.

What bothers me is Josh Allen was obviously hurt, and the guy is there basically celebrating; if you think that’s fine…

Those Patriots videos remind me about how absolutely arrogant it was of “I’m just one of the guys with my hoodie” Bill Belichik to assume that they could sign Antonio Brown, tell people that they weren’t going to be discussing AB’s “issues”, and to actually act offended when those questions were asked anyway. Welcome to the real world.

Gronk retired bud and that want what I was referencing … I was referencing the Jones hit

Watching Andy Dalton get sacked 8 times almost made me feel bad for a second there. The O line refused to protect him at all. The Cincy coaching staff just kept calling plays that left Dalton a sitting duck.

Can’t say it wasn’t awesome to watch though.

I only watched the first half but it was hard to know which team lost their starting QB.

Chiefs were our only hope to keep the Pats out of the superbowl. They looked human against the Colts. Hopefully they’ll return to form.

As much as I don’t care for NE . Based off that game last night I don’t see the Chiefs doing so now.

They didn’t look very good against Detroit, either.

Last night confused me. Seeing Houston play for the Colts made me scratch my head. The Chiefs’ defense was awful last year so it makes sense that they let three of their four best pash rushers leave the team…

They also shot themselves in the foot which is a good thing. They can fix mental errors and improve. The first drive was killed by two penalties in the Red Zone. Then they turned around and committed a penalty at the goal line on defense. And then there’s the offensive face mask penalty that led to the 3rd and 28 in the 4th quarter… They killed themselves and the refs kind of missed some things.

And my last observation/gripe - when did they stop teaching guys to run north and south? If 13 runs towards the end zone instead of the sideline on 3rd & 28 then get gets a first down… :man_facepalming:

If they can keep it a tight game they could. The Pats special teams (FG and PAT) have been leaving points on the field, their defense is getting penalties here and there, and their OL is full of holes man.

Pats have glaring weaknesses that they can’t seem to address 5 games in and the Bill’s have been their strongest competition so far (TBF the Bill’s look damn good this year so).

Stop teasing me and giving me hope that someone else will represent the conference this year.!

@bulldog9899 Jacoby is doing a great job, but how does it feel to watch the best offensive line in the NFL and wonder what if the colts had given Luck that O-line when he started? MULTIPLE CHAMPIONSHIPS.
