I’m a giants fan myself and was surprised by the draft pick but very happy we got Barkley.
Darnold to me looked awful last night. Terrible decision making and his two picks looked like he just threw it up and was hoping for a miracle to happen. I think he could’ve had another pick if the defense had better hands.
Mayfield is THE MAN. Without question his teammates believe in him, Tyrod just doesn’t take any chances (doesn’t trust his receivers?).
The dude is a slinger for sure, just watched the game online and it was fun to watch him.
If anyone has Fitzpatrick available in fantasy, you might want to start him on Monday night against the Steelers.
They were the most hapless secondary I’ve ever seen against Kansas City. They do get Joe Haden back this week, but he can’t cover all of the Bucs tight ends.
He should easily tie or do better than his 400yd 4TD performance against the previous 2 opponents.
I’m glad he’s gone. Part of me doesn’t even want Parker to come back. I like the chemistry of Albert, stills, Amendola and Grant. Just wish we could get Gesicki more involved. Best thing Parker can do is have a 2 healthy game stretch where he lives up to potential so we can trade him for a 2nd rounder
Not sure about 8-0 but we need to take care of business first half of season, the second half stretch is going to be rough with packers, jags, vikes, bears etc.

The following occurred while the wife and I were watching an NFL game yesterday.
Wife [animatedly, while pointing at the TV]: CHOP!!!
Me [confused]: What?
Wife: They chopped the guy running with the ball!
In the game, two tacklers had hit a ball carrier simultaneously–one high, one low. I then recalled that when we were watching LSU play down to the level of their opponent the night before, their linemen had been flagged for a chop block. At the time, we had discussed the specifics of the infraction.
Continuing our exchange during the NFL game:
Me: No, sweetie, they were tackling him, not blocking him.
Wife: OK, so it was a chop-tackle!
I love my wife.
At a high school football game Friday there was a mother that was unquestionably drunk and stupid in the stands. She was also very vocal about how she thought the boys should play. One of her favourite things to shout was “HAIL MARY!”.
This particular team runs the ball about 95% of the snaps… maybe 4 passes per game (always a fade to the endzone for 5 yards). The funniest part, she would lose concentration and demand “HAIL MARY!” even when the other team had the ball.
Poor Clay Matthews, man… Dude can’t catch a break.
They showed a stat yesterday, Raven’s have more receivers (8) with 50+ yards receiving than any other team in the league. They’re also the only team in the NFL that’s perfect in the redzone (11/11 iirc).
If they can clean up their O-line (much better yesterday) and shore up the defense they’re gonna be in the chase this year. Flacco’s on pace for 4700 yards 32 TDs 10 INTs.

Ya, I turned it off after the 3rd INT. The penalties last night were redonkulous.
You think the hype is totally over? He made some critical mistakes, no doubt, but he still had the Bucs in the game at the end, and he was still slingin it around, ha! Does he have Winston’s job?
I think he’ll play a couple more games at least, but he’s on thin ice.
Winston needs to get back to game speed. But I’ve never been impressed by him. That ugly Steelers secondary let Fitz back in the game. I think they’d do okay regular season with Fitz… maybe 9-7. But he isn’t the second coming of Drew Breeze. The Bucs paid Winston WAY too much to have him ride the pine all season.
I blame the Browns, they win one game and the whole league has a tizzy. I went bed before it was over last night too…
Keep in mind the Steelers really needed that game. It wasn’t a must win, but it was definitely a ‘must not loose’.
