And DT-Aaron Donald in just a few more years.

+1. That kid is a monster. PFF’s analysis on him through the first two games is insane.

John football NOT starting sunday vs the raiders. Im ok with it, he has a lot to still learn so sitting isnt going to hurt anything, but atleast he got some confidence playing. (although i think confidence is his last problem, and he needs to be humbled on a daily basis. IE. If im Joe Thomes, or Alex Mack, manziel is bringing in donuts and picking up dry cleaning everyday)

At some point we’ll need to figure what he can do, but he’s not exactly going anywhere as a free agent.
I look at checking ones self into rehab about as humbling as it can get for a person.
Isn’t that admitting to yourself that you might have a problem and asking for help?

Taking it upon yourself to stop doing a celebration tactic that some saw as show boating, isn’t showing humility?
Rehab seems to have helped him out so far, and i cant image how humbling it must have been to be the laughing stock of the league last year. My whole point is to keep him humble, and that the veterans should be taking him down a peg or 2 like the rookie he still is. He’s got a long way to go, and i wouldnt be hanging your hat on beating the titans.

Been watching some episodes of Americas game from the 80’s and 90’s era. Playing QB back then was serious business. Defenders seemed to be allowed to do pretty much whatever they wanted to you. '85 Bears in particular were a nasty looking bunch.

I highly recommend this: http://www.amazon.com/Americas-Game-Super-Bowl-I-XL/dp/B000VAHQW4/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1443205372&sr=8-8&keywords=america's+game

And yeah, they are a lot of fun to watch and great for seeing the history of the sport. Agreed on the defender comment, the league has definitely created a lot of rules not only for player safety but also to advance offensive scoring. I still remember the Colt’s complaining and getting a rule change because the Pats basically terrorized them in the middle of the field in the early 2000’s.

Ok, need some fantasy help->

My team looks like this-

QB’s- Ryan and Newton (good here but may look to unload one to whoever had Roethlisberger for an RB1 and pick up Dalton as QB2)

RB’s- Jamaal Charles, Alfred Morris, Doug Martin, Andre Ellington, Gio Bernard

WR’s- Antonio Brown, AJ Green, Deandre Hopkins, Brandon Marshall, James Jones

TE’s- Martellus Bennett

K-Tucker
Def- Jets and Bengals (streamed the Jets this week, didn’t work out, but thinking about holding on to both of them as their schedules seem to compliment one another well)

My question is this- Have a trade offer with Morris and Jones or Marshall for Travis Kelce or CJ Anderson and Tyler Eifert (who has the same bye as Bennett). Thinking of pulling the trigger on Morris and Jones for Kelce as I just cant see starting Jones over any of the other 4. Also, it would open up space for me to pick Knile Davis back up to handcuff Charles. So what do you guys think? Jones would be a for sure starter for this guy who has finished runner up in the league the past two years so it would make him stronger.

Jared Allen to the Panthers for a 6 round pick next year.

Is he done?

Fuck this season

No. Imma throw a temper tantrum if I want to!

yep, Allen to Panthers, Bostic to Pats, Forte being shopped hard.

Sucks to be looking forward to 2016 three games into the season.

That was an interesting Sunday, lots of blowouts.

da bears

I think he has been done. He can make a decent depth option, or makes sense for a team that rotates their DE’s or as a third down guy, but IMO he’s long gone.

As a Pats fan, I thought Bostic was an interesting pick up. I don’t think it speaks well for Mayo, who is already slowing down because of past injuries it seems and will either have to take a pay cut or be released after this season because of his cap hit.

I think it is a great pick-up for Carolina. They need a DE. Allen is going back to the DE, after playing OLB in Chicago’s 3-4. Allen is a natural DE, not outside LB (doesn’t look like he feels right without his hand on the ground)

I think I heard, or read that Carolina is only paying Allen 800 grand on his 12 million this year? And Chicago is paying him 11 million and some change.

It’s not a bad pickup, especially for the salary split like you noted, but Allen is still past his prime and even in a 4-3 he has been on the downward path after he hit thirty the past three seasons.

Yeah, he has past his prime

I just want to thank Steeler’s Nation for gifting the Ravens a win this year, most kind of you.
