2014 Olympia

Kai looks a bit out of shape! : (
Phil is IN shape. Looks better than everyone so far. Only the entrance poses though. Maybe they will look different together.

Wolf is shredded…but he lost so much upper body man!

It’s between Phil and Wolf in my humble opinion.
If it is…Phil wins, but Wolf is really cut. More cut than Phil.
Kai is 3rd…highest he can be.

Holy Hell this Bonac guy is impressive!

i don’t know what you were watching but kai is definitely in shape.

prejudging just wrapped - kai on one end phil on the other…

the pig faced announcers had a moment of honesty – i saw it too. kai was getting harder and harder, shedding water. a shame that they didn’t do a final side by side. kai was wider and better in the FLS, his legs were harder and more detailed, and he was harder and more detailed from the back as well.

  1. kai #1
  2. fuck you phil - #2
  3. rhoden #3

kai could use a touch of oil on the torso, and his chest seemed flat when he initially took the stage, he got better, phil did not.

that is about as objective as i can be. ha.

also regarding women’s physique -

dana is going to win, the blonde chick is awesome but looks like a BB from the rear, not a bad thing, she’s got a great build but I think dana will likely win, she is improved from the year previous and her legs have improved.

tycie is my girl, i want her to show off her back and x-frame. the top three girls all have entirely different aesthetics - very subjective type of pick em’

fitness chick - the russian - she’s fucking awesome. as for bikini - who gives a flying fuck. i liked the black girl, indigo or something or other—don’t know her name. some of those bikini chicks were just fucking ugly.

i absolutely think…many of those tits, not inside a bikini top would look out right alien shit scary…fuck that.

Branch brought the best conditioning he has ever steped on stage with in my opinion

you should check out 2009 Olympia.

my .02 -

Phil looked great
kai looked very good and was getting better as he posed
Wolf was very lean but somewhat flat…
dexter looked great
Shawn looked very good. outsized dexter though if feel dexter had better conditioning

wolf didn’t make the first callout initially (Phil, Kai, Shawn) but got bumped up at the end… I wouldn’t be surprised if he still beat Shawn. I don’t see him placing ahead of kai or phil though.

Roelly over-carbed and had a gut… and his conditioning was off…3rd callout was rough but I feel it was fair.

I really hope that they don’t put branch ahead of Ramy… branch had way better conditioning, but was dwarfed by ramy, and his complete lack of symmetry due to his injuries… I can’t see how he has made it into the top 10 these past years.

Jojo and JOJ both have no legs… won’t be higher than 12.

Morel had great conditioning but needs a considerable amount of size. Delarosa lacked size and conditioning for the most part.

I feel that Bonac got hosed. I would have had him in at the second callout…ahead of branch and martinez for sure.

the other Arab guy looked alright… pretty obvious gyno and had some balance issues with his physique… but then again, this is his first pro show so can’t knock him.

Smalls looked as expected.

I feel that Martinez actually looked pretty damn good and should definitely place ahead of branch…maybe even as high as 8th

Kuclo had the size, but his conditioning left something to be desired. Still, I feel that his size and structure are good enough to place him in the top 10

Bastards…im at work so i couldnt watch it live. BB.com doesnt have any galleries up yet for the pre-judging either.

So, from the looks of things the Ramy hype was a massive flop as always?

This is embarrassing.

He was the biggest guy on the stage tho

So since this year’s event won’t hit the “airwaves” until October, does anyone think they’ll selectively edit out the BS, or are we gonna go reality tv and make everything look worse?

And yeah Branch looked a lot better than last year. I don’t say too much before I actually see side by side comparisons, especially when these guys have an event spaced over two days, but so far I’m just nodding my head thining “ok…”

You know, sometimes I wonder if things have been more heated this year because things are going to be televised.

And then I wonder if the drama is real at all. But then again there was a lot of drama in Pro Wrestling, and we all know that was definitely real. Right guys?

Guys?

Finally got to check out the pictures and some footage from the pre-judging. Cant help but feel a bit disappointed in general…these guys just dont compare to what we saw in the 90’s.

Anyway, from what i have seen so far, it’s very close between Phil and Kai. Trying to be as unbiased as possible, IMO Kai looked better. Phil has the better arms when it comes to proportions and symmetry (specifically triceps shape and forearms) but i thought Kai was as good or slightly better everywhere else. His conditioning was great. And damn i cant get over Heath’s narrowness. It just looks plain ugly when he hits the FDB and MM.

Wolf looks like a shoe-in for 3rd.

Ramy has future O written all over him. He and Wolf are far and away the 2 biggest guys there, Ramy has the better proportions but Wolf has the better conditioning. I really like Ramy’s physique though, if he hits his conditioning by next year he could be a real contender for the title.

Love Diesel but he just looks lost next to those guys. He needs more size, has a great physique though.

W/ the antics —

Q: People are saying its embarrassing. Is it really? I suppose it is.

But…w/ social media, UFC, duck-facing, and the Fall network coverage…maybe this is a flava flav “don’t believe the hype” thing. It might get talked about on sports center and perhaps…if we’re lucky…Don King and Iron Mike will start promoting BB!!!

I was embarrassed watching pre-judging, not sure if I’ll even watch tonite. All of the great dead bodybuilders who died making stupid fucking choices are collectively rolling over in their triple wide coffins. hahaha…

punch him in the fucking mouth Kai - that is what I would have yelled if i was there - I would have been wearing my best tap out shirt to the O weekend too!!!

Love your posts, man!

I agree what you said about oil. At this level, EVERY detail counts. Too little oil leaves a flat look, and if you miss a spot, it disappears under the lights. These pros should know this by now.

i say just let them all fight and who ever can hit the most poses while winning the fight wins.

Not in the initial “walk out” where the guys individually come out one at a time, nor in the initial comparisons. I don’t know what you were watching.

Everyone looks really soft to me except for Wolf. The announcers indicated it could be the lighting? But when Kai came out, his abs were not very distinct, he looked water logged (but then to me, all of them did)…I was disappointed.

When Kai hits the most muscular shot, I thought it was amazing how there were NO striations in his chest. None. It was as if they were implants or oil that you cannot flex! I thought was was really odd. Now, from the back, the separation and the added effect of the shadows cast from the mounds of muscle he has really stood out. But initially, I thought Phil looked more “on”, thought not as conditioned as he had been.

Kai was definitely getting sharper as the contest went on, especially in that last callout. I thought Phil was fading as the contest went on; HE was starting to look flat to me…but then again it could be the lighting on one side of the stage…heck, I don’t know.

Totally agree about Bonac…he should have been compared earlier! I’m REALLY disappointed in Roelly.
