The question is “is this it for Bradford?”
Probably with the Rams. To bad I really wanted to see if the Rams could compete in that division.
Dude stays hurt though, has he had a full season?
I don’t think so, But I do think he will still try to play in the NFL. And there might be a team that takes a chance on him, I just don’t think he will ever get big contract

Colin Kaepernick has looked pretty awful, I know its only pre season but I definitely take them out the top 5 teams.

They’ve been very good for so long it was bound to happen. I think they’ll have a down year similar to the Ravens a year ago and end around 8-8.

So when is Washington gonna start Kirk Cousins?

I haven’t seen RG3 or Kirk Cousins play at all, but at some point it has to become a legitimate question to the team.

Cousins just looks better right now. Not only that, but the chances of him being a 16 game starter are much greater and consistency at the qb position means something. When you have the offensive speed they have, do they really need a running qb or would it be better to go with the qb who can get the other play makers the ball most efficiently.

He’s had two I think. Rookie and third season. If I am remembering my ESPN graphics correctly.

I agree with that, But I’m not sure they will do that for fear of damaging RG3 and his potential.

That’s why running Qb’s will never be the next big thing. They just don’t play consistently well or don’t stay healthy. Passing QB’s that can run are about as close to the “athlete playing QB” side of things that you should get.

Cousins looks much better from what I’ve seen. Granted he’s playing against second & third string, but he’s also playing with second and third string.

Ya, and it should help open up the run game for Morris.

ANOTHER big contract you mean. He’s the last guy before the CBA to get the mega-deal. If he decides he’s done then he can walk away and not work for the rest of his life. Having said that, if he truly wants to play football I feel for him since he’s had a rough go of it.

Legitimate concern here in DC. I think RG3 opens up the run game enough for Morris. Again, I’m referencing Michael Vick when he first got to Philly- they were a fast and mobile offense that could put up points. We’ve got more than enough weapons.

It would be terrible if it doesn’t pan out not just b/c of the draft picks we used up but also b/c this poor kid is an athletic freak and it would just mean we really did break him. Regarding the draft picks though- maybe STL made a mistake in not using their drafting a QB somewhere in the deal.

Bradford needs to walk away with his giant pile of money, and be happy that he can walk the rest of his life. Poor guy, not really…

Did he get a big rookie contract? Even so he should still try and play.

Always been a fan of Shaun Hill. Also there have been rumors of my boy mark going there…which would be ironic being as Chillain would always shit on him. I hope it happens mark needs a legitimate chance to start with a team that has some talent on the offensive end. Not that they are stacked but a good running game with a good tight end and some receivers with ability. Probably won’t happen with schotty being there but it still would be a nice spot for a qb that never got the credit he deserved on the jets
Heh, maybe it comes full circle in the end. I do know one thing: I certainly wouldn’t wish OC-Schottenheimer on Sanchize again (or any QB, for that matter)

Agreed on high hopes for Shaun Hill.

Tebow throws like a girl, and is not a QB.
That may be true, but I have a feeling Tebow will have more career playoff wins than Johnny.
I am a fan of both. I have like Johnny Football from the beginning. I think Tebow got Rex Ryan’d out of the league. I think the media attention is a killer for both of them.
I saw was at the Chik-fila Bowl last year, Johnny made a believer out of me. It was amazing. I think both can (could) succeed with the right coaching and allowing these guys to develop.
You seen Roethlisberger throw? It ain’t pretty. It doesn’t always have to be. Making people what they are not tends to fuck them up.

I wonder at what point do the Browns coaches/front office realize that john football is not worth the hassle. Vince lombardi could not motivate a defense they way this kid can, and that’s not a good; especially if he’s not that good. And he seems completely lost.
Conner Shaw won the QB battle, hands down.
Can’t tell if serious.
Yup, the stat lines don’t lie. Shaw killed it. He is my dark horse QB. Being a Cocks fan I watched him play for 4 years. He’s a good QB and one tough som bitch. He will be somebody’s Tom Brady one day. That’s my bold prediction. It is a bold prediction which means a high probability for being wrong. But the boy has skills and deserves a chance somewhere to develop.

You haven’t even watched their games, have you? The OL has looked awful, not Kaepernick. He’s had zero protection, this last game being typical of his preseason. Three-fifths of last year’s starters haven’t played this preseason, and one of the ones who has (Iupati) is coming off a broken leg in last year’s Championship Game.

When they actually have their entire starting lineup in the game (Gore plays about two downs a preseason, Davis has only suited up once, Crabtree and Boldin have played about two series so far) in a regular season is the time to start evaluating Kaepernick.

I suspect the Niners and Kaepernick will be pretty good this year; just not as quite as good as the reigning Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks and Russell Wilson.

When Lynch turns into fucking Shaun Alexander circa 2006, we’ll see who’s better.

The Niners look like their draft haul this year and last were outstanding. Tank Carradine has looked unstoppable at times, Quinton Dial is going to push Ian Williams for time at NT, Jimmy Ward already has the nickel corner locked up, Eric Reid’s already a Pro Bowler at FS, Bruce Ellington is a fucking player at WR, Vance MacDonald looks like a different player this year (and he was already a road grader of a blocker at TE), Aaron Lynch is probably going to be the steal of the draft (the guy is a physical freak beyond even Aldon Smith, and he’s got about 10 pounds and an inch or two of arm length on him, too), and Carlos Hyde is a lighter-footed version of Eddie Lacy at RB.
