2012 Presidential Election Run-Up

Oh god, this is funny.

I also know for a fact, there was plenty of Venture Capital money in Solyndra. I saw a couple Form 8886’s with their name on them.

But… But… Venture Capitalists are evil, only send jobs overseas.

“Jewbacca”? What the hell kind of comment is this?

I have lived in several states in the country and in 4 other countries (Egypt, Philippines, Japan, and Great Britian). My opinions and philosophy are shaped by my experiences. I do not think in isolation and the world does not function in isolation. I fear that those that do not look past their own biased view (Jewbacca!) will continue to remain fixed and unyielding - unwilling even to see past their prejudices and consider anything outside their narrow vision. I know I’m making some generalizations here, but racist name calling adds nothing to the conversation.
Jewbacca is one of the brighter posters here who can explain the cultural differences between the west and the area of the world he lives in much better than I can.

And his description of the culture “over there” tends to lend itself to you being the one with a biased view.
Jewbacca is an ethnic/racial slur for the Jewish people.
Apparently your comment referenced a real person and not an ethnic slur - my apologies.
You should be more careful in choosing your words - they may have meaning outside your intended purpose. Unfortunately, this happens all too often.

Are you aware of what the term “mudshark” is ?

Because I find it highly ironic that you would criticize someone for their screen name as an ethnic slur, with a name like yours LOL.

I can clarify it for those who are unaware of what your name means, I would be happy to, let me know Al Sharpton.
Yes, I am aware.

Words that have more than one definition, more than one meaning (e.g., mudshark) are defined by their context (e.g., my avatar)
For words that have only one meaning (e.g., Jewbacca), context is irrelevant - they will always mean one thing.
For complete understanding, context is important.

Ahhh yeah, I forgot, Libs are the only ones who know what, or can determine what context is.

Sorta like this:

If you got rich by rapping about selling crack, destroying lives, disrespecting women and contributing to the destruction of the neighborhood you rep, looks like “you built that”.

But had Jay gone to college and opened up a bakery that sold tasty as fuck cupcakes and become a millionaire, well, “you didn’t build that - someone else made that happen”

Don’t get me wrong, I love hiphop, but I don’t pretend it isn’t what it is.

Blood bath for Politico…

haha. Jesus H that was ugly.

^^

Someone should ask why Dems in Hackramento reserve a seat at the table for the president of the most powerful teacher’s Union when budgets and taxes are considered. If you want to take a page from lobbyists running the show, no one can do it better than we can.

Holy fuck that was funny.

Or would have been, if it wasn’t so sickeningly indicative of bias in the media and the two faced bold faced hypocrisy floating everywhere in washington.
