huh? LBJ never " took over games" and “willed his team to victory” when he was in Cleveland?
lol
Well in Cleveland he never won the big game, struggled in elimitaion games and for the heat he did not do so well during the regular season in finishing games. He is now this year winning the big games and making big shots consistantly
Cleveland’s second best player was Anderson fucking Varejao. Every time they won any playoff game, it was because of LBJ’s will.

wow… good find on those Videos Raj.
its no surprise to anyone that Wade and LBJ get tons of calls to go their way but I like seeing them called out for BS ones like those two.
He’s right, Cuban will be throwing those things out there all day every day. He could care less about $100K fines from the league. I bet Cuban will criticize the refs publicly for any calls like those and not even care.

exactly
Heard a stat today on ESPN that TheRajman (combo of Raj and Randman) will love
Derrick Rose’s shooting percentage in the ECF while be guarded by LeBron James = 6%
thats not a type-o… 6 percent. six, seis, VI
wow

I saw that stat too… normally I would rail against the small sample size (1-for-15), but even if you argue he should have made a couple of those shots, there’s no escaping that LBJ was taylor made to defend him. Big enough to block shots from behind and from far away - quick enough to cut off driving lanes and stay in front, etc.

Someone please tell me how the Heat are going to stop Dirk Nowitzki. Someone PLEASE give me a guarantee Nowitzki will not score 50 on Miami every single night they play.
Someone…anyone…
Hilarious!!

A lot of James “good D” was Rose settling for shots. There was a couple of times yesterday where he took James all the way to the basket, but for the most part he’d dance around as James sagged off him and shot shitty step back jumpers. Rose has fallen in love with his jumper, and his entire offensive game in general. If Chicago is going to be the team they’re capable of being, they need to add a perimeter scorer and Rose needs to be more of a playmaker. Him shooting the ball 20+ times a game isn’t helping their chances. And, Boozer needs to fucking show up and Noah needs to learn how to stick open 12 footers. That guys offensive game is nonexistant, and if he could contribute even a little it’d be huge for 'em.
^^I couldn’t decide if it was more Rose falling in love with his jumper, or that he was intimidated by the Heat’s interior D after so many unsuccessful drives.
Rose was just trying to do too much, and not necessarily because he was forced to.
Who is more likely to lose at home in the finals:
DAL or MIA?
You guys see this quote from Riley in 2008 after breaking an 11 game losing streak:
?I feel like a mosquito in a nudist colony,? Riley added. ?I know what to do. I just don?t know where to start.?
Flash,
I think you love to go against the grain, man ![]()
James played good D BUT I don’t think it was just the pure “defense” but more that his athleticism/speed/size were intimidating for Rose, which resulted in what may have looked like slightly better D than what was truly played by James. I think so, at least.
James is just a physical specimen not much else to say about it. I was actually relieved that rose hit that floater over james in game five because it was becoming uncomfortable to watch. It was a grown man going against a boy. Rose will learn from this and grow. My concern for the bulls is kurt thomas is the only bull coming off the books next year so I dont know if they are gonna have a lot of options in terms of off season moves.
I dont think cuban will say much during the series, he has been pretty quiet this playoffs and I assume he doesnt want to become a distraction at this point.
Yeah, but some of the shots Rose made off drives to the bucket were just unreal. I know he’s incredibly inefficient, but I still love watching him play. So damn quick and athletic.
He and Westbrook have to be the two quickest in the league.

In terms of first step explosiveness, I’d agree. Did y’all see the World Championships [or whatever they’re called] this past summer? Only caught part of a couple of games but Westbrook was BY FAR the most athletic guy out there. He missed quite a few dunks, but he looked like he was in fast forward compared to everyone else. It was crazy/impressive. I think in terms of pure speed though, Brandon Jennings is the fastest in the league. That guy gets baseline to baseline with the ball faster than anyone not named Iverson that I’ve seen.
Looking ahead, what does the free agent scene look like this summer?

Monta Ellis can be added to the mix

Ellis isn’t quite on that level, and he doesn’t have the bounce off the dribble that either of those 2 do. He is deceptively strong in the air though. He gets off shots that you wouldn’t think he could due to his build.
Lol apparently Scottie Pippen thinks LBJ may be a better overall player than MJ:
"Michael Jordan is probably the greatest scorer to play the game,? Pippen said. ?But I may go as far as to say LeBron James may be the greatest player to ever play the game because he is so potent offensively that not only can he score at will but he keeps everybody involved. You have to be on your Ps and Qs on defense. No guy on the basketball court is not a threat to score with LeBron James out there. Not only will LeBron dominate from the offensive end as well, but he?s also doing it on the defensive end which really makes him the complete package. He?s able to get in those passing lanes, shoot those gaps and create transition opportunities where he is pretty much unstoppable.?
I wonder what MJ has to say about that?
I bet WF has some thoughts regarding the matter too… lol

Others have said it too including Larry Bird, but at this point I don’t buy it.
