That’s how football goes! One weekend your the hottest team in the league and your a sure shot at the bowl, the next week your in rebuilding more.

As a 49ers fan, I’m already looking forward to the draft (for a QB) and the hiring of a non retarded offensive coordinator this summer. Apparently Raye is so inarticulate when calling in the plays that the players cannot understand him. On top of that, he also tries to call the plays from memory, which results in him mixing and matching certain portions of plays by accident, just what the 49ers don’t need.
I will give it to week 5 to evaluate your QB, if he continues with the less than stellar performance than I would agree. From what I saw of that game, your D let down a lot, letting the 80 year old Hasselbeck throw all over you is not a good first game.
5 weeks? We’ve had 5 years to evaluate him. He’s just not a good QB, no leadership and no accuracy. I mean I’ve hated Smith since the day we drafted him, so I’m biased, but I think he’s had more than enough time.
Thats funny, but what are they going to do now? Do they roll the dice and go with Carr? Do they just try to get the best out of him this year and draft somebody?

If the O doesn’t give the def. time to catch their breath, it’ll be a long day. We need to start sustaining drives. As for Sanchez, I’d give him the 1st qtr & if he can’t put points on the board, bring in Brunell.

I hope Rex is climbing deep in Shittyheimers ass this week. Time for a ultimatum w/that cat. Get it done or get out.

My thoughts on cutting Woodhead? Why? How many receivers do you need not to catch the ball. Woodhead was a spark for the team. Dumb ass move. Hell, as bad as Greene played I slap Woodhead in there quick. He wants the ball and he wants to win.

The Jets will score 21-24pts over the next 4 weeks combined!!!
Come on print…we cant do this to ourselves, we have to remain somewhat optomistic for at least one more week, if we lose this week, then then its on and armageddon begins.

I agree with woodhead, if you aint gonna throw to your receivers than why re-sign Clowney? If need be woodhead can play WR anyway.

I really don’t think you’ll have much of a problem with that. Their run Defense kinda blows, and they softened up in the second half against the Bengals.

So, if the Jets can score 21-24 points running and ball control, they should win at home.

I mean, Revis pretty much seals up moss, if they double Welker (and don’t hold him, lol) and make the Pats beat them with the tight ends and running game, the Jets should have no problem stopping that.
Damn Beans you make it sound so easy…from your mouth to gods ears!

SKINS ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL!!!
HaHaHaHa I love how heated people get, by the end of the year we can bring up some of these quotes on how peoples teams are going to the SB. The skins D is great, but McNabb has nobody to throw the ball to.
We’re going to run up 50pts per game all on Chris Cooley scores. Duh…

HA! Matty you know better than me, being up there. But all Jet fans are pessimist. It’s what we are. It’s a hell’uva thing to live with too.

Clowney of all people too? WTF Westoff couldn’t stand him. If someone could explain the reasoning behind this move, I would greatly appreciate it.

So as to not be a complete downer, the front 7 wrecked havoc all night. Good to see Thomas & Ellis show some game. How about the play of Bart Scott, dude is a war horse.

If we can get DeVito & Sione to play like Jenks, we may be alright.

Everytime Devito gets into the game, he makes a play…the guy is super underrated, hes no Jenkins but he is really unsung. Same goes for Ellis and Thomas…theyve been on the team for eons and never get the recognition for being very solid players. Thomas was a bust no doubt but ever since he switched positions he has turned into an excellent player

Ask DJHT what happened to the last guy’s team that questioned me.

go ahead. ask him…

Okay, Okay wait till you come to our house. Good one though. Hey they reduced V. Jackson suspension to 4 games, think he will be a Redskin?

'Skins or the Vikes would be a great fit for him. Personally I’d much rather see him dominate with McNabb, I just don’t know if the 'Skins have enough picks to give up after this past off-season.

Anybody as excited as I am to see Vick start this weekend? I am an animal lover, and think what he did was beyond awful, but he paid his dues, and I think he still has some “Michael Vick Experience” left in the tank.

^^I Am… I think Vick will do better this week after practicing with the 1’s all week. To me he looked tired after a few series… I think that game and this week of practice will get him back up to speed/close to it.

If he tears it up again like last week and the Eagles get a win I think there will be a MAJOR quarterback controversy in Philly

Also, Fuck Vincent Jackson… holding out when you’re getting $3.5 million dollars after one legitimatly good season for more money??? Fuck that guy. I hope he plays hard ball and sits out the entire season with zero money.

Hhaha. Just bustin your chops cuz I have to. It’s kinda mandatory you know? This picture should explain everything.

I think it would be nice to have a receiver haha. I don’t know how I feel about the possible impending drama though. I used to think of the Skins as a drama free, good ol’ boy team but I think the last few years have exposed my naivety. I’d like to see some of these damn rookies step up tho!!!

what do all of you guys think of the possible Haynesworth to the NY Jets situation?

Why would he leave one 3-4 defense in which he hates playing nose tackle, to go to another 3-4 defense where they would want him to play nose tackle? Just doesn’t seem logical.

^^there has been buzz about it for a little while now. Since they lost Jenkins on the DL people have been speculating about gettin Haynesworth.

And Haynesworth would want to leave because he and Shanahan obviously hate eachother. I bet Albert would LOVE to go to NY and tear it up in the same system. (if nothing else but the throw it in Shanahans face with a big “fuck you”)

I think your buying into the sports media kool-aid a little too much. Sports writers and media outlets create “buzz” by themselves, a lot of the time without any solid information from teams or players. Remember the time this summer when Favre “stated” that he was definitely retired? Yea, for the most part sports media “experts” and “insiders” are a joke. They just like to stir the pot, because the general public will always gobble it up.

(No intentions of sounding angry, I just don’t like wasting time on speculation)

I’d rather focus on things that are actually going to happen on the field, like the Revis vs Moss match up this week. Who wins?

Also, which Manning comes out on top of the Manning Bowl 2.0

I for one dont think vick paid his dues enough…I hope he tears his ACL and never plays in the NFL again…but not to stray…while it is the medias job to stir the pot the haynesworth addition would certainly peak my interest as a Jet fan, but trades in the NFL are very rare in season, so I doubt it will happen.

As a Jet fan, I go into this game very pessimistic (surprise). I believe Moss will be contained somewhat but not shut out, Its fucking Welker thats gonna give us fits. The pats running game doesent scare me I have a lot of faith in the truly underrated Mike Devito who has been on the Jets for a long time and has a penchant for making plays. Its the little screen passes to Faulk, Welker and a surprise hit to one of the PATS younf TEs that will spell our doom. Our offense has to keep up with the PATS…theres gonna be some scoring. I dont see the jets offense keeping up…0-2 but will be 2-2 at the 4 game mark.

Pats 27 Jets 17

Moss 3 catches 42yds 1 TD
Welker 7 catches 112 yds 2 TD

But what if Brady gets knocked the fuck out? Sorry just do not like that guy, I know I know I’m a hater but fuck it I would love to punch him in the face. If Jets watch game film from last years Baltimore and Pats playoff game and follow that game plan you just never know.

I honestly think Belichick will have game planned something pretty nice for Moss, and believe that he could have a huge game. With all of Revis’s yapping, Moss will be beyond motivated and Belichick knows that. I bet the coach will pull out a little something extra to make sure his WR gets some.
