That was a siiiick hit! I hate Eli ever since that shit he pulled with San Diego in the drat (SD is my other favorite team)

holy shit! What a catch

Observations from last night.

LT has a burst, but catching passes not running in between the tackles. Greene looks like he will be a handful.

Sanchez has a pretty firm grip on the offense. Will be very interesting to see which WR cries first.

Defense CAN NOT open field tackle. Very disappointed in how they played. Great pass rush terrible tackling. Leonard was never involved in enough plays to be the SS on the field. Cromartie did his job. But it’s obvious Revis needs to get in.

Special teams, played like I thought they would.

Hope Hard Knocks & all the pre Superbowl talk doesn’t go to their heads. It’s tie now to shut-up & put-up.

Can agree with most of this, but it is the first preseason game. Look at the Colts they never win in the preseason. I thought the first team did a great job shutting down the Giants, they lack depth in some spots and using rookies.

Seriously. There was even some spurting blood action. WHAMMY.

So far LT looks a lot better than he did last year, decent burst/agility, he will be a great #2.
Yea Lt is a legit #2. His routes across the middle have been really crisp. How about Braylon!? Catching some tough ones
Catching the tough ones is what he does best, catching the easy ones is where he(BE) fucks up.

Nice pick-up by San Fran, Westbrook is going to be the QB’s safety net for sure. He might take away some of Gore’s touches which might make him(FG) a little peeved but the coach will tell him to stfu.

After watching the Steelers vs Lions game I would say that Detroit has got a pretty good looking defence up front. They might upset some good teams this year. Kyle Vanden Bosch and company looked good but then again Pittsburghs OL isn’t known for stellar pass protection lol.

I’m sure I’m being hyper-sensitive to the whole thing. But as I said earlier, being a Jets fan it’s a prerequisite to be a pessimist. So w/that being said, I do think its time to STFU & play ball. Quit reading & reacting to the hype.

One thing I was looking for, was how Jenkins played. He was awful quiet last night. Looked good on the first series when the Giants had the ball on the goal line. After that he became a after thought.

I have been watching to see if Vernon Gholston is going to be a bust or not. This is his year and moving him to a 3 tech in a 3-4 scheme will tell. I dont think he is big enough for this spot.
I have heard about Jets fans and their pessimistic ways. Its all good dont believe the hype until they get to the big show. However I will say they made it to the AFC champ game and that is not an easy thing to do.

I love this move. It gives us an experienced, multifaceted running back who can definitely take some pressure off of our QB. I am also completely fine with Westbrook taking some carries away from Gore, as it will help keep him fresh and lower his chances of injury.

He can also serve as a great mentor to both Gore, and our new stud rookie RB Anthony Dixon who is a straight up beast.

Alex Smith’s performance on Sunday left me pretty worried, as his QB rating came in around 7. David Carr looked much better, and it really doesn’t appear that Smith has made any significant improvements. Obviously it’s early in the pre-season, but if Carr is outperforming Smith, I hope the 49ers wouldn’t hesitate to make a change.

Good maybe now the sporting news will STFU and cover real news. Lets play some ball.

yeah thats all they are talking about on ESPN… how brett is allegedly on a plane to Minnesota right now to rejoin the team. Oh snap! Live feed of Brett landing… he’s on the ground in Minnesota now

Another year of this shit, I mean really my hats off to Favre fucker is 5 years older than me and playing at this level. But I just wish he would retire for the realz.

Do you not remember the moratorium I put on Brett Favre speak until week one of the season?

No I do not, but I humbly STFU. Hey man heard not so good things about Alex Smith I have not made an opinion since I have not seen him play in the preseason yet. What is your opinion.

I have only watched 2 years of Farve will I, won’t I, and I am sick of it. Let mine be the last BF comment.

Alex Smith was rubbish but I think first game of preseason is too early. I would give a QB til the 4th game of the reg season to make an impact.

Dexter Mclcuster looks like a shining light for the CHIEFS.

who cares about BF comments now that he’s actually back with the team? No more waffling back and forth. He’s actually there now so why is he off limits still?

He looked terrible in our first preseason game and has been pretty underwhelming in camp. I really don’t think he has the arm or accuracy to be a quality NFL QB. I would love to see him come out and surprise everyone, but right now I honestly have more confidence in David Carr than I do in Smith.

Hadn’t signed when I said that, he is still a boring old bastard, hope Clay Matthews rips his head off.

I remember those years for Dallas after Aikman retired, which I guess is where you are at since Steve Young retired. Garcia was okay but was never going to be like Steve or Joe. Mike has everything else on that team set but a QB and a dominate defense end.

We’re fine at defensive end, we have Justin Smith who is awesome, but our quarterback situation is dreadful, and that is by far the most important position on the offense, and field for that matter. It doesn’t matter how good our defense is, or how good our skill position players are, if the QB can’t get it done.

I’m already kinda hoping that we can get Andrew Luck, that would be a great story.
