Looks like my predicting the Lakers taking this in 5 isn’t too far fetched. Jesus the Suns got mauled.
Wow, killin em kobe, and Lamar was incredible. Even my boy mebenga scored… lol Thats how you know you’re getting schooled
drewh,
you are one game closer to having one of this guys pics as your new avi!! =D I think I like either the 3rd or 4th one down!!
so many sweeps this postseason… you gotta wonder how much the players really care about winning… the suns better make it interesting and not roll dead.

Why no, no I haven’t. I stopped watching that shit when the strike happened so many years ago. True story. But I still give all my love to East Coast - because I can.
And thats why nobody likes you and we all think you’re stupid and smell bad! lol
The last time the NBA was good and the world still made sense.
^^ good times (pretty sure Kendall Gill was that third guy for CHA)
Drewh, picking against the Lakers with his heart instead of his head since these playoff began. And wrong every time!!!
Wow, Kobe has 40 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in this game and just completed his 6th 30+ point game in a row; now doing it in the west coast finals when some other…err…player isn’t even in the playoffs anymore. Now remind me again who is the best player in the league when you start weighing the more important post season play into the resume? Whose the best player in the league right now with that killer instinct and shows the desire and grit to play through injuries better than anyone; whose that player again???
His name is Kobe Bean Bryant. You know, I’ve heard that June is a really good time of year in Los Angeles to throw a PARADE. Anyone else hear that?

Dude you just never drop it do you? Way to be ‘that guy.’
Can’t say I didn’t expect it though, thus my statement about 1 series actually being worth discussing on these boards(although the way the Suns ‘new and improved defense’ played, that series could be not worth discussing for many reasons now).
…yup
Im going out on a limb and saying the celts win a close one tonight.
Wow, that is going out on a limb. I’m not seeing it but who knows.

Think Gill was aleady with the Sonics and Dell Curry was that 3rd guy. HE’S ON FIRE!!!

Haven’t fully made up my mind but I think I agree with you. I fully expect Lewis to be more involved but the C’s play Howard really well. They expose exactly what he is as a ball player.
Ok, I’m through with the comparisons this season (unless someone else brings it up ;0). That being said, is everyone just so used to seeing Kobe do what he did last night. No comments even from the Lakers fans on this thread?
That was a freaking clinic he put on; a scoring clinic. 21 points in the third quarter alone? 40 points with 9 minutes to go in the 4th and sitting out the rest of the game?
Are you guys spoiled with this guy or what? No comments on this magnificent performance whatsoever. That was fun to watch.

In my case, yes. I didn’t even realize it was a 20+ point quarter upon watching it. That’s how he scores, in bunches that can change the game pretty quickly- another reason why numbers are misleading when you compare Kobe’s scoring to another high scorer’s. This was just a really big bunch [no Kerley’s load].
Celtics over Magic in 4 or 5. Between Sheed, Perkins, and even Big Baby the Celts can contain Howard offensively- that is as long as the calls aren’t hugely in Howard’s favour. All they have to do is keep him far away from the net, and since Howard can’t shoot free throws, they can a afford to commit a few fouls along the way. Also the Magic have Vince Carter as an important part of their offense.
As much as I want Phoenix to win, most likely LA takes it in 6. The Suns’ll put up a better fight than the Magic will against the Celts, but they’ll still lose. In fact, barring KG’s injury trouble last year this year’s and the past two years titles could have been split between the the Lake Show and Celts. Kind of like how the Celts and Lakers duked it out before with Bird/Magic.
