Nate Robinson getting in Odom’s chest lol.

I feel redundant saying this every game now, but GLEN BIG BABY FUCKING DAVIS. He is playing huge minutes off the bench every game this series, Celtics bench getting the lead up to 11 against 4 starters+Odom for LA. how many times did Pierce/Garnett/Rondo walk up to the scorer’s table then walk back to the bench cause they made a huge energy play?
Happened in the Phoenix series too. Weird
No Bynum = Changed Series. I think I’m going to be sick.
Davis doesn’t have the game he has with Bynum in the game. Again, I think I’m going to be sick. It’s like Lakers circa 2008 again with no Bynum and the Celtics killing us on the glass and with second chance points. I hope he can still play next game or game 6; otherwise prognosis doesn’t look nearly as good.

as a sports fan and former(still) athlete, I hate when players get hurt… and I hope the c’s can win this with bynum on the floor…
but as a man who bet 200 dollars(that I dont have) I hope he’s hurt bad enough that we don’t see him on the floor for the remainder of the series.
If the c’s are gonna win the championship, They have to win sunday. THey already proved that they can beat the lakers at home and would have two cracks at the title.
If the c’s lose… Its over! no way the lakers lose two in a row at home. Also, BIg BAby is a Beast!!! GO C’s!!!

If Kobe ever decided to try and prove he’s better than Jordan with one game, now would be a nice time. =)[/quote]
With bynum hurt, We are now gonna see how great Kobe Bryant really is. This is his chance to put himself,Dare I say it!!?? In M.J’s unreachable pedestal. It gonna be fun!!
I can’t believe this series might come down to Bynum’s health again. I’m so pissed I’m seeing cross-eyed.
God Fucking Dammit, I really hate the Celtics.

Sorry, there were many years that Jordan didn’t have the help and couldn’t beat teams by himself. Kobe can go off and he’s not going to beat a Celtics team with a sound defensive 1 on 1 defender type philosophy by himself. Wade couldn’t do it, Lebron couldn’t do it and Dwight Howard certainly couldn’t do it (no surprise there).
If Odom and Gasol don’t determine to win the boards battle with the Cs bigs then tye prognosis is not good. Either that or maybe Phil did decide to save Bynum and maybe by some miracle we can get some good minutes out of him in game 5.

This is a championship team with the best big man in the world and two other allstars… also they have the best coach in history… Kobe is gonna have to take over if the lakers are gonna win the series. BIg challenge!! and great players rise to them.
New rule, no mention of GOAT status.
Here’s the deal: Pepple are gonna expect Bryant to do “heroic” things. He needs the ball to do those things though. If he hits two contested 3’s in a row, then get him the fucking ball the next time down the floor, don’t freeze him out for 2 straight possessions. He can get hot like no one else in NBA history, and if he gets rolling there’s not much that can be done. That’s a lot of pressure though, and tonight proved that even if he gets his, his team has to step up. You can pencil in Bryant for 30+/- and Gasol for 20-ish every night. Lakers not named Bryant or Gasol accounted for 35pts. Davis and Robinson combined for 30 between the 2 of them. That’s just straight not gonna cut it. Fisher sat with foul trouble, and everyone else apparently forgot that this is the fucking NBA finals. I imagine Bynum sat to conserve himself, or Jackson sat him to conserve him. Either way, if he doesn’t [or can’t] play the rest of the way then everyone else needs to pull their heads out of their collective asses and get the job done. Even with that, the pressure’s on the C’s 'cause they DO NOT want to come to LA down 3-2. The officiating is still shit, but the Celtics played like they just plain wanted it more tonight.

Who’s their other All-Star?
Pau.
And Boston had only 2 this year as well.

He said with the best big man in the world and 2 other All-Stars, implying that there were 3 All-Stars. I was looking for the 3rd.
Ron Artest was an all star…in 2004.

I’m guessing Pau is the “best big man in the world.” but as far as i know the only other all star is bryant? Bynum didn’t make it this year.
