I think McCoy is great, but I think he’s already played his best football.
We’ll see though

Could be true, but he was robbed of the crowning achievement. Maybe that will make him hungry for the next level. I always like the kids that have something to prove and never had things just handed to them.

That’s why I think Lefevour is the sleeper QB. Brian Kelly wouldn’t have had the opportunity to even smell ND’s crotch if it wasn’t for the kid stepping in at CMU as a freshmen and getting them national attention.
what about Pike? I dont like Clauson either for some reason, QB’s just have to have that “it” at the next level.

Just not sure how that hand of his is going to take the beatin’ it’s going to get. We’ll see.

And WTF Tebow???
I have no idea why everyone is so against Tebow going in the first round. He’s the white Vince Young, complete with the funky throwing motion, and nobody had a problem with him going in round 1.
Because VY was ready to start at QB in year one. Tebow MIGHT be ready in three years, and can’t take a snap under center, only shotgun.
ANd VY is more like a Mike Vick, where Tebow is more like Mike Alstot (sp)
Plus he is an outspoken douche.
Hey beans just curious what is it about Tebow that makes you say that. I just have a feeling about this kid that I dont like and it is probably just my own personal problems. But it seems most people either hate or love this kid.
I just think the whole “perfect” boy thing is an act and he has some filthy sex slave tied up im the basement.
What dumbass passes up the perfect 10’s he should have been scoring while starting QB at a major school?
That alone makes me not trust him.
An interesting way to put it, but I do agree.
Tebow comes across as very holier than thou. Much of what he says comes off scripted to me.
His whole persona seems fake.

Everyone in Dallas is excited to have him in our line-up. We will easily have the best receiving core in the NFL with Austin, Crayton, Hurd, Ogletree, Roy Williams, Bennett, and Witten. Hopefully, this will give Williams a much needed wake-up call to get his shit together.
Can’t wait for football to start back up!
I’m surprised Bryant wasn’t picked earlier in the draft. Dallas got a great pick.
I also think his off the field issues are largely overstated.
And slightly off topic, but have any of you heard about his upbringing? It’s amazing he isn’t in prison somewhere, or even dead.
I agree, Dallas’s passing game will be retarded next year.
Package Roy and 4th round pick to Baltimore for Geather. Then Dallas is set for next year.
Tebow sure did cost a lot. 3, 4, and 5 round picks to Baltimore plus 60+ million contract. We’ll see if McDaniels is as good of a QB coach as he thinks.
McDaniels is trying to establish a locker room attitude necessary for winning. That is why he passed on Dez, traded Marshall and picked up the character players. Will it pay off? Time will tell but almost any coach would tell you they want a hard worker over a talented problem anytime. Teams that play together and for each other make impossible possible.
Teams generally know if a player wants is in jeopardy of coming off the board. If a player is worth it to them than a trade is warranted.
I think CMU QB could be the next best QB. Great feet, mobility, decisions, size, and mechanics. I like eveything I saw from this kid the past few years.
I think UT and ND QB may be fine but see tons of valuve in CMU QB.
Dez should be good in Dallas. I think he will have a big time career if he can get the work ethic to match his size.
Cowboys the best WR corp in Dallas? Please! Roy is scared of the ball and the defense. Miles has had 1 good season. Witten has been great - breaking down yet? Aggie TE from Houston, should come around. Everyone else can not be spotted with a FAA radar. I would probabaly take Houston, Cardinals, 49ers, and Minnesota’s crew just to name a few instead.
I could be wrong - it has happened another time.

Which is precisely why he should not have gone to a team which previously employed both TO and Pacman “scrip club” jones or Nate newton…or …nevermind. Hopefully this kid will be ok playing for “Americas Felons…err team”. At least he did’nt go to the Raiders.
As far as qb’s
Bradford-hell yes, big upside
Colt Mcoy-will do just fine
Jimmy Clausen pickle-potential, but not sold. PS Notre Dame sucks monkey dick for life.
The rest- hard to say, nothing amazing out there, as far as Tebow, like him or not who cares, unless he is traded he won’t be playing for 2 years anyway.
As a Patriots fan I am puzzled by another cb selection when we have a glaring need for Lb OLB and DE (and OT )(as pertains to our nonexistent pass rush) Oh, and spare me your “cheaters” and “Brady is gay” smack. At least our QB isn’t a rapist(allegedly) a fat ass or a retard. Ya’ll better worry about the Jets in our division who seriously loaded up, even if they still are coached by a fat crybaby (admittedly a talented fat crybaby) and Mark “dirty Sanchez”. They will be tough this year

I don’t understand how anyone could dislike Tebow (unless you hate the Gators). The kid has it. 10 years from now, he will be the best QB to come out of this draft, guaranteed.
Not sure why Denver took Demaryius Thomas over Dez Bryant though. That was a stupid pick.
Other questionable picks were SD trading waaaaay up for Ryan Matthews, Jacksonville taking a projected 2nd-3rd rounder at #10 overall, and the Lions trading up for Jahvid Best when their OL is total garbage and they already have Kevin Smith. I’m also wondering why so many QB-needy teams passed on Clausen. I’m guessing St. Louis is going to have every one of them calling them today to get the 33rd pick. Great spot to be in with this 3 day format.
The Chargers traded up because Matthews was going to be taken before it got to them. I guess they could have traded with the Broncos, but you don’t trade picks with a divisional opponent.
Tebow might be the best QB to come out of the draft, but the QB’s in this draft don’t seem so great to me. You give SD a hard time, but the Broncos traded away picks to move up and draft Tebow who they could have gotten in later picks. Seems like a high pick for a guy who is going to be a project.

Denver took Thomas over Bryant because of the character concerns, they didnt want Brandon Marshall Jr., although i think a lot of it is the media.
I was shocked that Jax made that pick, worst pick ever. Even if Aluala (sp?) turns into an all pro i still call that a terrible terrible pick.
As for the lions I think they are doing great in the draft. The reason the traded up for Best is because they dont know if Smith is gonna be ready to play after his surgery so why not take one of the best talents in the draft and then if smith is healthy thats a helluva one two punch which most teams are turning to anyways.
Also cant wait for DA BEARS to make their first pick tonight. A lot of people are saying safety which I wouldnt mind depending on whos on the board, but if I were in the green room I would take the biggest fricken OL on the board and let Tice do his magic.

Vince Young is MUCH faster than Tebow could hope to be and he wont be able to run over the linebackers in the NFL like he did at Fl. I dont think he should have gone in the first round but im not up in arms about it either. But I am going to have to hit mute every time he talks b/c every other word is “ahhh…ahhhh”
And I dont think there was a better place for Clausen to end up. I would rather have seen the Panthers take McCoy but Im just glad they finaly took a QB, been waiting for 4 years for it. I didnt have much hope for this up coming season 7-9 maybe 9-7 at best and just wanted them to roll over so they could go ahead and bring in Cowher, and unless they make the playoffs I think will happen regardless
Wow, Titans picked up Myron Rolle in the 6th and now signed Stafon Johnson immediately after the draft.
For those who don’t know either of these players, Rolle was a Florida St. CB who finished his undergraduate degree in pre-med in 2.5 years and then forwent his senior year in football to study in Oxford as a Rhodes scholar. Johnson was the USC player who dropped the barbell on his neck while bench pressing 275 (false grip), crushing his larynx and almost killing him.
Two guys who aren’t the most talented but have tons of character. I wonder if Fisher’s trying to do something here. Maybe making up for the time he had Pacman Jones on his roster?
5…4…3…2…1…Count down until Roy Williams is cut. Sorry had to do it. I just hope to the Lord almighty that Dez Bryant is not a prima donna W.O.

Jerry Jones will turn him into one…giving him #88 is only the beginning.
Yea I know, but hopefully we can get a few good years of production on the field. I really had high hopes for Roy and I have defended him the past two years. Being a big UT fan I was pulling for him. But the proof is in the pudding and he just cant get on track with Romo.

I feel the same way. While I’m not the biggest Cowboy fan(don’t shoot me!..lol)…I hope Dez is successful…since he’s a fellow East Texan(Lufkin).
Something just bugs me when guys go out at screw up their opportunities…and end up as nothings back in East TX…because their isn’t shit there for them except family, imo.
