2010 Draft

What are peoples thoughts on Dez Bryant? I am pretty excited about it, his off field issues seem relatively minor to me, but I am far from an expert. He is incredible talented and I cant wait to see him play.

I was hoping we’d get Williams or Okung. A longtime replacement for Walter Jones.

I love the Jets D now, the kid has Revis as mentor and will fit nicely. They may win it all in the next few years. That team is BUILT.
They’re making a run this year.

Considering that a lot of these guys have 1 year contracts.

Ridiculous defense though. Stacked.
And a of people arent mentioning that they traded for cromartie too. The announcers were saying Rex will blitz 8 lol and i really dont doubt that.

Everyone in Dallas is excited to have him in our line-up. We will easily have the best receiving core in the NFL with Austin, Crayton, Hurd, Ogletree, Roy Williams, Bennett, and Witten. Hopefully, this will give Williams a much needed wake-up call to get his shit together.

Can’t wait for football to start back up!

I agree, huge Cowboys fan and I cant wait for them to get another superbowl. I was thinking the same thing about Williams waking up… If he does, it would be really dangerous. The running game was great last season, so with a matching passing game it would be awesome

Boomer Sooner, bitchez.

And WTF Tebow???

I have no idea why everyone is so against Tebow going in the first round. He’s the white Vince Young, complete with the funky throwing motion, and nobody had a problem with him going in round 1.

I don’t give a rat about where he goes or when as long as it isn’t Denver. I’m a Sooner, remember?

Ugh. I hope I don’t start seeing Tebow jerseys at the grocery stores on Sundays, when I play “doucher in a jersey bingo.”

Yeah, I forgot about all that when I posted, sorry. It’s just when I see Mel Kiper and other people completely rag on him when he has the same skill set as a previous first round QB, I’m thinking WTF.

I missed the first seven picks while at the gym but thought, no biggie, the first four will drag on, wrong!

Love the Steelers first pick, drafting a OL is boring but it was perfect for them. When I saw teams starting to go for pass rushers I figured the two players they wanted, Kyle Wilson and Iupati would be avaliable. Wilson was there but picking Pouncey makes perfect sense.

Jets are going to have a killer defensive backfield this year, fuckers.

Cowboys made a bold move and Tony Romo should be sucking the owners balls this morning for getting Dez Bryant.

Still trying to figure out the Chargers trading up that far for a RB. I’m on the couch and not a pro scout so gotta give them the benifit of the dought on that one.

Niners made it pretty clear what they are going to try to do with those picks.

Denver are either geniuses or idiots, time will tell. I won’t slag them untill I see what Tebow can do.

The next player I’m most interested in seeing where he goes is Toby Geirhart. Last white dude this good was Tommy Vardell I believe.

I could see the Steelers grabbing him if he’s avaliable. They might convert him to a FB/RB if they are serious about running the ball more this year.

I was fucking glued to the set lastnight. My wife even threw me a cookie at one point asking me how the draft was going and who was left that was good. I didn’t shut up for five minutes straight and she just nodded her head once and awhile and uhummed a few times lol. She’s a peach…as long as it doesen’t run over time and fuck up her survivor show.

I am still in shock with the Dez Bryant pick. Mixed emotions. Hell of a talent, hopefully the off the field stuff is just media hype. Hey crazy Al finally took a pick that is correct Mclain is a beast and will be a good fit for the Raiders. Still scratching head on the Chargers moving up to take that pick, when chances are he would have been there at the original pick.

Because VY was ready to start at QB in year one. Tebow MIGHT be ready in three years, and can’t take a snap under center, only shotgun.

ANd VY is more like a Mike Vick, where Tebow is more like Mike Alstot (sp)

Plus he is an outspoken douche.

Hey beans just curious what is it about Tebow that makes you say that. I just have a feeling about this kid that I dont like and it is probably just my own personal problems. But it seems most people either hate or love this kid.

The Jets are set up to be scary this year.

I was expecting some trade magic by the Skins, but grabbing up Williams is a good, safe move. Shanny has a plan.

Shanny’s plan is to tell the owner to STFU and let him run things lol. Good solid pick by the sounds of it.

Tebow is a “blessed” douche

Denver must have known something about Tebow that we didn’t. That’s all I’m saying.

Chargers new RB from the Green V is a beast, and AJ Smith wouldn’t leave himself danglin’ in the breeze, I’m going to be patient and see what else happens.

The Lions got a couple of sexy picks though didn’t they? Of course it’s where those mega talented players will go to die, but still pretty interesting.

Who do you guys think are the best QB’s still on the board? I think Lefevor from Central Michigan, hands down.

I don’t understand how anyone could dislike Tebow (unless you hate the Gators). The kid has it. 10 years from now, he will be the best QB to come out of this draft, guaranteed.

Not sure why Denver took Demaryius Thomas over Dez Bryant though. That was a stupid pick.

Other questionable picks were SD trading waaaaay up for Ryan Matthews, Jacksonville taking a projected 2nd-3rd rounder at #10 overall, and the Lions trading up for Jahvid Best when their OL is total garbage and they already have Kevin Smith. I’m also wondering why so many QB-needy teams passed on Clausen. I’m guessing St. Louis is going to have every one of them calling them today to get the 33rd pick. Great spot to be in with this 3 day format.

I just think the whole “perfect” boy thing is an act and he has some filthy sex slave tied up im the basement.

What dumbass passes up the perfect 10’s he should have been scoring while starting QB at a major school?

That alone makes me not trust him.

Okay so glad to hear I am not the only one who thinks that. I guess I have my own demons or just watch to much movies. I just see this kid getting caught in the future like Charlie Sheen or something. I know this is irrational but just something about him screams “Act”.

Disagree, got to be a homer here and say Colt McCoy. Winningest QB in NCAA history and just as accurate as Bradford. He has played the big games and has beat Bradford the past two years. Dont give me size and arm strength either with Drew Brees just winning the SB.

I’m with Gruden on Tebow. I think he will be fine. However, he does seem too squeeky clean. I agree that I have seen too many movies to believe this :).

I still don’t understand how Detroit is so bad. They have a decently stacked team. They must have made a “sandbag plan” so they can build up a good team over a few years and then make a run.

I am soooooo happy Snyder is not having his way (or at least not completely).
