yeah I get that but when it comes down to it when you beat a team that is ranked #15 in the case of arizona and they go on to lose the next 3 games it doesn’t seem like much of a quality win anymore.
I didnt beat anyone. I’m not even a Stanford fan. I’ve just been pointing out the incorrect statements that have been made so far in this thread (there have been a lot)
All i’m saying is the strength of schedule is determined at the end of the season not the beginning.
so they never calculate SOS anytime other than at the end of the season?

You know who I feel bad for… Boise State. I still think they made that first kick at the end of regulation but I guess we’ll never know.
I know, everyone in Mackay Stadium that night knows, ESPN and all who viewed its replay’s know, the WAC Commissioner’s office (according to their official release) knows, and now you know. Wait are you the one who started that thread over at Bronco Country? lol

huh? bronco country? Is that some boise fan site that the you post on or something?

What I said (and I still stand by) is that I think he made that kick. We’ll never know because there isnt a decisive camera angle and Nevada has those low uprights.

^^wait so which is it? They havent played anybody of note? Or they have and they lost?

You put the number 1 team in the SEC against the number 1 team in the PAC10 and then 2 vs 2 and 3 vs 3. I doubt the PAC would win a game. They might once you get down to the bottom of the pile but I still doubt it then. Put the SEC against any other conference the same way and the results would be the same.
^^Really? Well we will find out in a month. Number 1 Pac10 vs Number 1 SEC in the national championship game… and number 2 Big10 and Number 2 SEC in the sugar bowl. We’ll see how your little prediction goes
Deal. I’ll bet you an internet dollar that the SEC takes both. If we lose both then I will clarly and loudly state that the PAC-10 is a better conf than the SEC.
the SEC HAS to win both for your aguement to hold up… after looking at the bowl matchups the SEC has to win EVERY ONE OF ITS BOWLS except South Carolina vs Florida State for your top to bottom win against every other conference argument to hold up.
Yeah I know. I’ll probably look like a homer douchebag after all of this but I can live with that.

Bronco Country = Boise State Board. A thread was started over there shortly after the game about this topic. Boise fans like to use this as the reason they lost the game. They lost because they were dominated in the second half.

Did you not see the replay’s on ESPN where they (ESPN) extended the uprights?

Which is more important the first or the last calculation?
Which BCS poll is more important the first or the last?

Wolfpacks’ stadium is smaller than some high schools. That whole game looked weird.

Va Tech’s got their hands full when it comes to the Cardinal. Harbaugh gets his teams ready to play. Especially if this is going to be #12’s last game.

Pretty awesome bowl season all around though. Michigan needs to get throttled by Mississippi State so Rich-Rod can go away. Other than that I’m hoping for and will probably see some really good matchups. Gregron are you going to the Poinsettia bowl?

A. I’m not a Boise fan.

and

B. Getting “dominated in the second half” ISN’T the reason Boise lost… Nevadas field goal in OT is the reason Boise lost.
