2010 College Football 2.0

As for Newton,

I think the SEC let it slide because he really fucked himself in Gainsville and had to play JUCO ball and for all intents and purposes he had to start all over again.

And ultimately, he’s not wearing the Mississippi State helmet… I think it’d be a different story if he was.

Newton seems to be the front runner, but I wouldn’t be surprised if James walks away with the trophy.

DJHT…

What do you think about the shakeups going on at Texas?

I’ll be at the bama / michigan state bowl game… good times !

Damn I was busy and had to look things up after seeing this. Well sometimes things just have to change, nothing lasts forever. Just have to wait and see what he brings in for OC and OL/DL coaches after the bowls. I really think it is deeper than this but you have to start some where. Their OL/DL was weak as shit this year and where there problems start at. I think Davis did the best with what he had.

I will say the Gilbert needs to work on his fundamentals in the off season, his footwork sucks and is most of the reason for his INT’s. And hell the way he squints at the side lines looking for the plays I wonder if the kid needs glasses.

When things are fucking up in football go back to basics to make damn sure you are doing this correct, it also seems to make the team play as a team.

Anyone seen Pony Excess yet?

^ It premires tonight Spike. I saw the previews for it yesterday. Funny how we were just talking about it right?

and my florida gators have no coach again…

this time i hope meyer retires… i think he tried doing the hands off approach and it turned into a 7-5 team… i do wish him the best of luck…

I am not surprised, I think with the season he had and all the off the field problems, he was just tired and done with football. He didn’t even seem to have any passion for the game this year.

yea… i think he really wanted to retire last year but gave it one more shot and said “maybe if i just let off the reigns a bit…” and when he did he realized he can’t win or be the same coach as before… maybe one reason why he didn’t publicly bash addazio (since he knew he was gonna retire didn’t wanna jeopardize addazio’s career)…

iono it was good while it lasted… wish him the best

Especially interesting w/ the Cam Newton saga going on.

It looks like Dan Mullen is the top prospect for the Florida job right now.

I think Urban Meyer is Brett Favre-ing us…

TCU’s Kirkpatrick wins Remington.

Negative. He also won the Maxwell and the O’brien awards. Complete and total bullshit. Not surprised at all though.

Yeah my dad had this whole scheme worked out and he was shopping me around constantly and making a bunch of phone calls…but I didn’t know anything about that.

Right.

I was actually surprised that Luck was number 2. I thought it would be James but I guess not. Thats two years in a row that a Stanford guy was number 2 in the Heisman race and it wasnt the same player. Thats pretty wild. I wonder if thats ever happened before?
