Malzahn is a genius. Attempt a qb hop up the middle. If you get it, awesome. If you dont, you call timeout with a couple seconds left, kick the fg to win.

Thats all that can be said.[/quote]
I feel like if these two teams played 5 more times they’d probably split the series. Either team could win any of the games… Two extrely well matched teams. The best two teams jn the country for sure

Are we agreeing on college football right now? Write this down, the South and the West Coast are in agreement about these two teams and this game.
I think the only thing that this game clearly proved was that Aubirns D line was WAY better than Oregons O line… Oh and that Oregons uniforms and cheerleaders are way better looking. That is all
It’s difficult to tell how evenly matched it was with the way Oregon plays. They can’t just line up and play football; it’s all trick/big plays for them. That’s tough to live or die on. Auburn was in control the entire second half. Auburn’s problem was sitting back and trying to burn too much clock. They got a one-score lead and tried to sit on it, which I think is unwise against a team like Oregon who, if they’re going to score, can often do it in a minute or less.
And this is pretty much what happened at the end - Auburn coughed the ball up, the ref set a fantastic screen, and all of a sudden, it’s a tie game. But then Auburn easily marched down the field and got what they wanted. If they actually played 10 games in a row, I don’t know if Oregon’s offense could keep hitting the big plays or not. It would be interesting to see.
