We?

You’re a Bulls fan? I thought you are a Wizards fan?
Haha you never listen to me! I knew it!

I’ve only lived in DC for 3.5 years, been a bball fan a lot longer.
Raj you didn’t know he was a Bulls fan? I didn’t know he was a Wiz fan…

The District of Columbia is where the Wizards are located. He’s mentioned he goes to Wiz games as well

I might talk about the Wiz because they are on TV the most here… and I go to games because it’s a cheap way of seeing other teams (saw OKC for like 10 bucks). So, they are the team I see the most of, but I root for the Bulls.

I think CHI-MIA is gonna be awesome. They could handle a one-armed point guard who couldn’t shoot, I dunno about D-Rose. I think they try to get away with guarding him mostly with Chalmers through 3 quarters (some smatterings of Wade, LBJ and a few possessions of Bibby), then they switch to having Wade and LBJ take turns on him in the 4th. I think whoever doesn’t guard Rose gets put on Deng, who LBJ can prob shut down and Wade can do a capable job on (not quite as strong though).

Deng isn’t spectacular against LeBron (who is?), but he does as good a job as anyone. Bogans/Brewer are pretty good on D - but the Bulls D is as much about rotating and help as it is about the actual matchups. Noah and Asik are excellent help defenders near the rim. Bulls D strategy will be to make them take jump shots. If they make them, so be it, at least you went down with your best foot forward.

The frontcourt is gonna be the all-defense no-offense guys guarding the all-offense no-defense guys. Anthony will be on Boozer and Bosh will be on Noah, same at the other end of the court. Might be a wash.

Low scoring series I predict.

I’m pretty excited about his Bulls-Heat series. I’ll be honest I didn’t think the Heat would even get to the Confrence Finals. And now it’s looking like they might win it all. I’m kind of rooting for the Mavs to win it all but at the same time I would like to see the Bulls win it all too. So a Mavs-Bulls final would be pretty entertaining for me.

So what was the reasoning behind signing Doc Rivers to a 5 year extension?

Except for maybe Rondo, the big pieces of this team will not be around for even half of his contract.

I don’t get it. When the Celtics eventually become a lottery team in a couple years, I would guess they would want a fresh start with the coaching staff as well.

Money? as well as the celtics being a world class organization with great upper management.

Although, I thought he was gonna take time off cause his son is going to duke or whatever but coaches gonna coach.

Anyone else staying in to watch the game?

Z-Bo OMG…

This guy is going off

Game 7!!!

Didn’t Rose drop like 20-something assists and 40+ pts on Bibby last time they matched up? or am I dreaming? Chalmers matches up so much better on Rose, so I am anticipating we’ll see less Bibbs in the series.

Boozer will def play a pinnacle role. Gotta keep Bosh off the boards and points low. Let’s face it, LBJ and Wade are going to run away with the scoring for Miami. Hoping Noah steps up and does his thing.

Dallas are in a good position coming off a series sweep on the Lakers, clearly in form and itching to get going to face a worn down opponent coming off a brutal OKC v MEM series.

damn man, Durant is shooting like absolute dog shit.

Grizz are playing great in this second half though. Game 7 should be a good one.

What’s with the overlap of the 2nd and 3rd rounds? Is that typical?

Z-Bo was stupid last night

dude has such an arsenal of offensive moves, he is pretty much unstoppable.

Happened from 1st to 2nd too.

Kinda stupid, but guess it kinda rewards the teams that finish off their opponents early.

Side note - FUCKING PUMPED to watch G1 CHI v MIA!!!

DAL-OKC and CHI-MIA predictions?

I’m sticking with the team I picked at the beginning of the year OKC to win the west and I think Heat will beat the Bulls in 6.

I originally picked Lakers vs. Celtics. I now see OKC vs. Heat in the finals.

I think Miami in 6 but Chi wins tonight. I’m going with Dallas who has homecourt but they lose game 1.
