im a bucks fan but since they cant make the play offs ever I become a Celtic fan at play off time.

Any ways imo its the Celtics year. With Shaq back and Jermainh Oneal playing lights out D the celtics wont be stopped in the east. The Two oneals and big baby davis make the Lakers size advantage of last year non existent. The Celtics are prolly bigger to be honest when KG is considered the PF vs Odom or Gasol.

In the east

Heat- Wade and Lebron stand around and watch each other with the ball. No off ball movement. they are fucked IMO. wrong fit. Lebron should of went to the Bulls. Bosh was the wrong big for those two as well. Should of been patient and waited for Howard.

Bulls-Good team, great record, I hate the fucking bulls. To young, best shot at knocking celtics off but not enough size and Drose is awesome but Rondo is also a beast.

NO other east team has a shot IMO

West-No one from the west can handle the Celtics in seven games. I would love another Celtics/Lakers final so I hope Lakers get it done.

What bball fan doesnt love celtics lakers finals?
Me. Get some new teams in there I’m tired of Lakers-Celtics (not really but I’d love to watch some new teams get a chance - Bulls-Thunder anyone?)

Btw, Shaq isn’t back and I won’t believe it till I see it, and Jermaine played “lockdown D” because he was guarding Ronny Turiaf.
I was thinking more his help d and the charges he was taking. Shaq isnt going to be shaq of old. just a 7’2" 325 pound guy to give 5 fouls.

I guess Stodomire and Anthony really arent good scorers. ONeal actually played porus D its why Stodomire was 1 for 11 when I left for easter dinner. lol
You’re right, but part of my point is that the fact he’s guarding Turiaf is allowing him to help more.

However, the obvious counterpoint that I didn’t think of, is that he’ll be matched up with Joel Anthony next round

I’m with you scj119. I’m not gonna lie though this first round series has me thinking Boston might be coming out of the east instead but we’ll see, I stand by my first prediction.
I think Bulls-Thunder would be most exciting

I think Heat-Lakers is most likely

I didn’t watch OKC-DEN last night (past my bedtime), but can anyone tell me why Westbrook took 30 shots and Durant took 18?

Same here. I fell asleep at half time (I’m on east coast) but I saw they were yelling at each other about something during a timeout. The commentators believed it was about Westbrook chucking up too many shots.

Does anyone know what the argument was about?

SAS is screwed. Talk about a team collapsing… best record in the league and getting whacked in the first round? weak.

I dont think the mini ripple in OKC is going to matter. they’ll win game 5 and move on Memphis. Denver already blew their chance at this series when they dropped some winnable games early in the series.

as for tonights games…
I think Orlando will come out and get the W tonight. Nelson and Dwight will have to do it themselves and Howard will have another monster night.

Chicago will win this game at home. I think it’ll be their best win of the series and they’ll get more contributions than just Rose

Kobe and the Lakers are gonna take it to NO tonight. The bigs will have good games tonight. They’ll pound the ball inside and take the series back to NO with a 3-2 lead.

In general I agree with you, but with the way this postseason has gone, one of those three things (at least) will be wrong.

It will be interesting to see which one.

i think the most likely is the Orlando prediction. I’m pretty positive that Chi and LA will win tonight at home.

I honestly have a hard time seeing CHI having winning convincingly. I think this game will be actually like the last 4. Neck and Neck until the very end.

I don’t understand what leads you to believe that this will be their best win.

because they’ve barely squeaked out 3 wins against a sub 500 team. I think Chicago will go home and put it away. They’ll have the home crowd fueling them on to close out the series and not have to travel again… Indy has given them a good run but I think they dont honestly believe they can win 3 more in a row and might collapse in the second half and pack up.

Wow, did you guys see that block by Paul George on Derrick Rose?

Pretty athletic play I thought.

Wow Rose is going beserk!!!

Im thinking Westbrook is uncoachable. Durant is obviously the better player. To not even try and kick the ball to an open man is unexcusable.

OKC wont be in finals cause Westbrooks 30 shot nights wont get them there.

agree with Lakers prediction 100 percent

IM saying it here. Finals will be Celtics/Lakers again. Size rules and these two teams have the best group of big men in each of their respective conferences. Add some great guards and scorers (Kobe, Allen, Pierce, Rondo,)

I just cant see any team in either confernce beating these two. to complete top to bottom.

Lakers for sure

Heat??? I would agree but their bigs suck and Lebron and Wade need to stop standing around with their thumb up their ass when the other has the ball.

How do Heat get past Bulls or Celtics?

Keep in mind he is only 22. You don’t want to reign in that aggresiveness too much because that’s part of what makes him so good. He just needs to stop taking so many damn long jumpers. He’s great at attacking the rim but gets more pleasure draining jump shots. Everyone wants to do what they suck at… I am best in the post but I get way more pleasure draining 3s. I just have the self restraint not to try…hopefully he either learns that or improves his shot.

Raise your hand if you called a CHI blowout and Magic blowout… I don’t think anyone called either, let alone both haha. Love the playoffs

what? did you not read my post from this morning? I was off cause I didnt expect all the balanced scoring that Orlando got… but I called a big win for both

and Raj questioned it saying that Chicago wouldnt have their biggest win of the series tonight… HA!

two for two so far… Lakers are up next

Pffft Dwight had the opposite of a monster game. But I will give you credit for the CHI town win though you didn’t say blowout :stuck_out_tongue:

Are you also calling a blowout of NOH by LAL or just a win?

Blowout = 11+ points

Win by 11 or more points = blow out
