By the way…Skins are beating the Jaguars this weekend and I will be in attendance. Did I mention the game starts at 4:15 EST and we start tail gating at 11:00 am, yeah baby. I have not cheated on my diet in two weeks in anticipation of this feast of meat and beer!

A, I hope the Skins do better against the Jags than my beloved Steelers did. Good Luck and go crazy!
So I’m one of those people who has Cul and I have a delemma. Do I give him one more week or drop his broke ass for Favre. I have Vick as my other QB, so hopefully this week was a fluke and he can just be my starter. I’d like to have 2 solid QB’s because I need all the help I can get.
Use Pepp this week. Its unamimous. I believe myslef and about 3-4 others have all agreed that Pepp is the choice this week against a Hou DEF thats giving up mad points. Besides Pepp has to breakout this week… I don’t need A.A. trolling me.
A.A. good starts man. I’ll take the heat if I am wrong. I believe I’m right on the money though. I have Winslow too and starting him over Davis(not GATES, but still.
I think Pepp will have at least 3 TD’s passing and or run combined and a decent yardage total. even his downside is not too shabby.
Pepp breaks out this week… you heard it here first.
I got Favre breakout week right. I know I can get Pepps and L.J’s is just a no brainer.
I have L.J. in the stratosphere this week. Luckily you have L.J. & L.T. because I know L.T. is going nowhere. It will take a team like Cincy to bust up that Bal DEF.
From those 3 I would take Tampa though. Nah, I hate Miami… and eveything that has to do with Miami. I went to Florida State man… you gotta understand where I’m comming from.
I like the Steelers, Packers, and Old School Skins fan… back in the day when they had Art Monk and John Riggins.
[/quote]
I can respect that. I like the Steelers also. A working class team without a lot of prima donas on it.
Ah, I see why you hate all things Miami being from FSU. Honestly, I would have been happy to go to either school! But I understand the rivalry thing and all.
Art Monk, why is that guy not in the HOF? Hopefully one of these days they’ll vote him in.

You really think that the Skins are going to take down the Jags? How do you see that happening?
All I see is Brunell looking like a deer in headlights man. The Jags D is going to dominate. I was even thinking of sitting S. Moss!
Hmmmm… beer and meat. I’m jealous. I want to go tailgating now!
Cowboys’ Owens attempted suicide, police say NFL.com wire reports
DALLAS (Sept. 27, 2006) – Flamboyant Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens attempted suicide by overdosing on pain medication, even putting two more pills into his mouth after fire rescue personnel arrived.
A Dallas police report released Wednesday morning said Owens told rescue workers “that he was depressed.” The report was first released by WFAA-TV.
The rescue worker “noticed that (his) prescription pain medication was empty and observed (Owens) putting two pills in his mouth,” the police report said.
The worker attempted to pry them out with her fingers, then was told by Owens that before this incident he’d taken only five of the 40 pain pills in the bottle he’d emptied. The worker then asked Owens “if he was attempting to harm himself, at which time (he) stated, `Yes.”’

I know everyone has their issues but what in the world could drive him to attempt something like this? Crazy.

What? Didn’t you guys pay attention to my T.O. prediction? Just a matter of time before t.O. got the best of T.O.
Right on schedule… I figured by week 4 or 5 there would be issues with T.O. That’s a no brainer. I predict by week 9-10 there is a T.O- Parcells issue. Bill can only take so much, he will crack… probably a benching or a suspension, something, anything.

You bring up some good points. Everybody is just waiting to see what he’ll do next. I know the guy obviously has issues but is there any chance this is some sort of deranged media stunt? Just food for thought. I almost feel bad for even mentioning it, but with a history like his, you never know.

Well, I knew he wouldn’t make it the whole season but I never thought he would try to off himself!
Because I am a skins fan and think with my heart on this one. Just as an FYI, Skins O line, 200 plus yards rushing, over 5 yards a carry, no sacks allowed and gave Brunell time to comeplete 22 of 22. It was against Houston but still it is a start.

Sep 27-Terry Glenn practiced Tuesday with the Cowboys despite having several stitches in his thumb. The receiver was trying to cut tape off his uniform and missed, cutting his hand. The injury doesn’t appear serious and likely won’t hold Glenn out of Dallas’ game on Sunday against Tennessee.

Question for you fellas. I have some serious WR trouble in my draft league. Here’s what I got.
S. Smith
S. Moss
M. Colston
Michael Clayton
E. Wilford
B. Berian
Besides Smith and Moss, I really don’t have much. Colston is having a great year and i’m pretty much going to start him as my No. 3. My question is, with Simms being hurt is Clayton going to produce at all? He hasn’t yet and I don’t see him doing much with their starting QB out. And what about Wilford? I traded Burleson for him when I heard that Branch was going to Seattle. But it seems that Wilford is the No. 3 guy in Jacksonville now.
So, should I drop either of them and pick up Chris Henry? I know that he’s a No. 3 guy too but I think that he has more upside than Wilford does. If Johnson or Housh go out he’s a stud. Well, he’s a stud now but is stuck behind to other studs.
And what are your thoughts on Clayton? Just stick it out with him and see what happens? I know it’s early in the year and I don’t want to drop him but I really don’t see his situation in TB getting any better.
