hehehe

You’re cracking me up today.

DRE! get Mike Bell…

Agreed!

If people are going to run and get Givens once you drop him, your league is in pretty bad shape.

Norwood should be owned in all leagues. I dont like Mike Bell. If a WR goes down, i am sure you can find a comparable to Givens type WR on the waiver.

Alright, in my Yahoo league i’m thinking of making two moves. Not any big earth shattering moves. I’m thinking of dropping David Givens and Travis Henry and picking up Jerious Norwood and Mike Bell. Both have the potential to become starters should Dunn go down or should Mike Bell just win the job. But in doing this it would only leave me one WR on my bench. Not a big deal right?
Also agreed.

Thanks fellas!

Mike Bell has gotten me a solid 20 points a week, but he’s losing the job to Tatum.

I’m trading him off while his value is still high.
Tatum won’t last… he won’t make it fellas!

My crystal ball is working. Hang on to him.

I have LJ, Jamal Lewis, Dillon which is good but splitting carries and Mike Bell which I’m still hanging on to.

20 a week? what does he get 10 for just stepping on the field?

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking 4 or 5 games should be plenty for a decent evaluation.

By the way, I finally got around to checking the order of the draft picks in my yahoo league. It was automated but you were able to rank the players any way you wanted. This one guy must be a huge Cleveland Browns fan. Anyway with the 5th overall pick he selected Charlie Frye! He has an entire team of current and former Cleveland Browns. I almost fell out of my chair.

I’m 1-1 in my league … this week I dropped Mark Brunnel & picked up Rex Grossman … dropped Bengals D and picked up San Diego D.

No problem.

Yeah, there is a guy like that in my Yahoo League too. He has like 6 Bears players on his team. It’s nuts. His team sucks and he finished dead last last year oh well.

I like the switch to pick up the SD D and drop the Cincy D. They are both solid Ds but I think SD had the edge because the Cincy D is pretty banged up right now. And that Merriman is a freakin machine!

Not to sure about dropping Brunnel for Grossman. Right now it looks like a great play but it’s only been two games. And Grossman has played the Lions and the Packers. Two very bad teams. And I should know, I watch every game the Packers play!

Remember, the Bears are a run first team and always will be. The reason Grossman is putting up huge numbers is because the teams they have played have been trying to stop the run. As the season progresses teams will pick up on that and probably focus more on stopping the passing attack. Don’t get me wrong, Grossman looks really good. But I don’t think it’s going to last. But who knows, I could be wrong.

But Brunnell looks terrible also. But he has more offensive weapons around him than Grossman does. The Redskins will probably turn it around at some point. Well, they better because I got S. Moss!!!

But, if Brunnell isn’t your starting QB then all of this is a moot point. And if Brunnell isn’t your stating QB, I would have to say good move. I’m sorry, what the hell was I rambling about???

Just got a trade accepted. I got Chad Johnson for Willie Parker and Roy Williams. Before you flip out, let me tell you who else I still have. Rudi Johnson/Edge, Julius Jones, Joseph Addai, DeAngelo Williams, Marvin Harrison, Chad Johnson, Chris Chambers, Reggie Williams, Pennington, McNair, Heath Miller/Vernon Davis, Cinncinatti, San Diego, New England.

I know my QB situation is bleak despite Pennington’s two good games, but other than that, I don’t see how I can lose.

How in the f&*k did you manage that team?

Bumpedy Bump!

What sre you guys doing?
You can’t let this slide off of the 1st page, especially you A.A.

Anyways, No L.J. today, bye week.
Its gonna be another rough day. Picked up Rackers by the way and dumped akers… probably a wash, somebody dumped him because he’s off to a slow start. I still feel he’s worth starting even with the offense scoring more in the red zone now.

Is Heap starting today?

nice analysis … Carson Palmer is my #1 QB, so , for now, I’m feeling pretty good about the Grossman pickup. Going to start him this week, since I have a feeling the Bengals will be walking into a hornet’s nest this week in Pittsburgh.

He’s listed as questionable. Probable is like 75% chance to play, questionable is like 50%, and doubtful is like 25%.

So, I would sit him unless your back-up option is just as bad.

Expect Carson to throw 2-3 td’s against Pittsburgh. I would start him. This game won’t be a defensive battle. Both qb’s will be slingin’ it around a bit.

Pittsburgh is a top DEF, but Carson plays Pitt well and he is due this week.

Repeat… I would not bench carson. I called that psychic that’s always on the Montel Williams show and she siad I am right on the money.

My Palmer predictions- 258 yards, 2 td’s and 1 lost fumble. Translation- 15 yahoo fantasy points.

My Grossman predictions 187 yards, 1 td 2 ints. Translation- 5 yahoo fantasy points.

Oh yeah… and Cincy beats Pittsburgh.

I told ya about Palmer! Saw that comming 3 weeks ago. I dont know what the over-under was in the cincy game, but I would have went with the over and cincy no matter what. The game isn’t over yet and the Steelers are driving, but I should have bet big on this fucker.

You are too funny dude.

3-0 in my heads up leagues. I retained third place in the overall points league even without LT and LJ. Pepp again was a dissappointment. I am glad Kevin Jones played well so I can use him as trade bate for either a better QB or a better WR. I had Evans and Mason on my bench so my coaching could have been a bit better. I started LJ and Holt, both had TD’s.

Nice call … I got 12 pts out of Grossman, but was playing against Hasselback, so Palmer would not have made much difference this week.

Well, I had my first loss today and I had a feeling it was coming. I barely won my first two games. My team is pretty solid and I’m getting a lot of yardage points from my recivers and backs but they just aren’t getting the TDs. Hopefully my guys will get it together.

I’m thinking of adding another back. Maroney and D. Williams are still available as FA’s. Now that Gonzo is over his bye week I’m cutting my second tight end. I picked up Desmond Clark as a fill in this week. Anyway, who should I go with? Maroney or Williams?

In regards to my previous post, I added Maroney. I just found out this morning that Dillon left the game with an arm injury which made my decision for me.
