Well not really as they are two completely different things that aren’t related to each other at all. One of which has not been shown to lead to increased mortality and can actually lead to a more favorable lipid profile while the other one can lead to arteriosclerosis and premature death from various other things.
Just because someone has a high lab value does not mean you need to treat. If someone has a high PSA, but no sign of prostatic adenocarcinoma, do you take out the prostate? Absolutely not.
Always good to be prepared with AIs and serrms, but no need to cut the dose if you aren’t experiencing sides.
