Scrotul cream is very effective. It’s not cream on belly or arms those suck.
When you apply to the scrotum it works very well. You will have to research. Let me find a post where I listed our references and videos. One sec

Compounded cream often gets lumped in with the pharma gels. They don’t perform quite the same though. I’ve been on a compounded cream for around 8 months and have done well. It hasn’t been perfect but I think I am more stable than a lot of guys doing injections that are on this site.
On the other hand though I don’t personally think you need to change administration method. I’m with the thought you just need to lower your dosing as your riding higher than needed.
Yup just choices if your current changes do not help. I agree try to do what you can with what you have.
@rise80 @enackers gotcha - I wasn’t aware there was a different category of cream.
I will definitely be trying titrating dosage down before switching from injections.
thanks guys.
Read those links I posted it will explain . It’s different because of applicTion area .
I agree. You are on trt not a constant cruise
You’re right.
Incidentally listening to new JRE with Russell Brand today, and TRT comes up. Not that I’m bringing up Rogan as a source of specific hormone replacement advice lol, but he was stressing the importance of staying right in the correct zone.
I was going titrating up at Defy’s advice. I went about 15% lower on my injection tonight.
Also I worked out again for the first time in 2 weeks and checked BP after…125/76 on two readings. Pretty interesting since I had a preworkout before gym which always jacks up my BP bad. Made me feel a ton better. Still, I am taking this seriously and hope I can get it consistently lower again.
I also went to Labcorp before injecting today so I’ll soon be able to see if e2 is an issue.
If this has already been stated I apologize, but you said those labs were from late last year?
If so, your free t is too high, but you did state that this draw was at peak. Don’t freak out until you get this round of testing at trough. I suspect your hct may be climbing a bit since you’ve been at 180mg a while.
Edit to add…the anxiety could be E2 related, and anxiety will jack your BP even more.
Those labs were from last year, yes. Drawn at peak. Yesterday I got labs done at trough.
I’ll be very curious about my HCT and e2. I think you’re probably right that these could have spiked.
Incidentally I am still feeling better now, blood pressure this morning was 136/78 which while not perfect is not making me panic. I titrated my dosage down last injection and will keep doing so, probably going to about 170mg/week and see where I end up.
Really appreciate your input and everyone else’s on this forum. Thank you.
I got updated labs back today, and would love anyone’s input. These were taken at trough.
I’ve titrated my dosage down recently, from 180mg/week, to around 170mg/week.
I recently posted about some BP issues. Thankfully, I’m in a far better place now (126/67 this morning, compared to 150+ systolic 2 weeks ago). I think my BP issues were the result of 1) too much test, but 2) pushing way too hard in the lifestyle department. Too many months of 8-10 hard workouts per week, 6 hours of sleep a night, getting stressed, beaten down, and depressed. I haven’t been able to “solve” that lifestyle stuff yet, but just being more conscientious about the risk of working myself into hypertension has helped. I’m also taking a LARGE dose of beet powder every day.
I would really appreciate any input anyone has on my labs. I know my blood glucose is very high. Probably cause I’m eating too much protein. My e2 is 26.7 pg/mL. I was wondering if e2 had been spiking (the BP stuff, and feeling anxiety / emotional) but seems like that’s in the zone. I could mess around with this, but not sure it’s worthwhile at the moment (having to see how I respond to an AI, experimenting, etc - too many other variables in my life right now).
Your HTC is excellent if you arnt donating blood then you could raise your dose and get your FT up to the top of the range
I don’t donate blood, but with a higher test dose, my BP was spiking badly. I will continue to experiment, but I’m not super motivated to push things higher. I’m pretty jacked, maintaining low body fat, libido pretty OK (hormone wise anyway), and my athletic recovery is pretty good. I am not sure I could be doing better on a TRT type of cruise.
How are you feeling though. Mood energy and etc.
No fatigue ?
If this works stick to it.
BP issues could be from the oil being used. Try grape seed it might help. It could of been life style. Overworking the body and not getting enough rest will raise blood pressure.
How long after changing dose did you retake bloods?
The mood stuff, hard to say, cause my mental thermostat is set low (I struggle with depression). Overall TRT has been a help, but I have mental health concerns that are not addressable by hormone optimization.
Energy: the way you put it “no fatigue” isn’t how I’d look at it; with my workout regimen and schedule, I am generally super fatigued. I am confident though that I would not be able to maintain what I’m doing without TRT, not even close. So I’d say energy is pretty OK.
With both energy and mood, I haven’t noticed a big downtick yet. I only reduced my dose about 1.5 weeks ago (maybe 3 injections).
I don’t really have a choice on oil unfortunately. Defy has a few options for test cyp, but the prices vary widely. The ones with different compounds are much more expensive.
Overall I’m chalking the BP up to 1) too high dose and 2) going to hard and not resting enough.
You should try to sleep 7 to 8 hours every night. It was super difficult for me, I was usually sleeping 5 to 6. Now I just force myself to go to bed early. And it’s worth it, my mood and energy levels improved massively, my anxiety is down. 5 to 6 worked when I was younger, it doesn’t work at 35 anymore.
One week is not enough time to notice a different stable dose you should wait 6 weeks.
Well yeah I know I was just answering your question ![]()
Dude I wish. It’s a major problem for me. I’m trying to be a normal working person but also trying to train like an athlete. I don’t really know where that is going to end up for me. I 100% know that more sleep is the biggest thing I could do to eke out more performance. That JRE episode with sleep expert Dr Matthew Walker was a major eye opener for me.
My choices are basically give up some workouts and sleep more, or do the extra workouts and sleep less. I don’t waste much time with TV or other bullshit, during the week it’s just work, training, eating, and rest (OK I have a GF too but a man’s gotta live).
I am really trying to balance the benefits of additional training with the downsides of inadequate recovery. I’m choosing additional workouts now, but like you rightly point out, it’s not really sustainable.
