that’s all, my pressing strength has really really gone to shit and i feel so much like a bitch right now. bw still at 181-182, i feel a lot better actually bein in the gym again, just hoping that my strength really rebounds and quick, i’ve taken a major step back and i hate it.

to those that actually look and read my log, thanks, and i’m always hesitant to write a lot of this extra stuff since it isn’t directly related to my lifting, and i’m not entirely sure it’s to appropriate(as of lately) or what not but i think it’s a little more personal and you just get a better feel for my training and what it’s like, and personally i think it’s just boring to look solely at numbers and i always like reading a little into what’s goin on in other lifters lives since it seems a lot of serious lifters have quite a bit in common personality wise.

It’s appropriate to share, for sure. Makes the logs more interesting. We’re not just slabs of meat with no personality… why pretend we are in the logs?

that’s it, squatting went much better than last week which is what i kinda expected and good that it is actually happening. my back was still a lil tight and sore from friday still, and my right hip hurt from friday also. didn’t weigh myself but hopefully still up a couple pounds, don’t think i’m up any more than that though.

right now we have several people that we are helping out and it’s making things a lil more hectect. it’s not a bad thing, i just don’t get to sit around as much lol. my roommate’s brother just started goin to school here and a couple of his friends are comin in, and then just helpin a couple others as well, i like doin it so that’s good but just makes me a lil busier in the weight room than normal.

that’s it, benching went better, my first reverse band set immediately went well, i did what i use to do and what i haven’t been doing lately. i push back and arch up a lil harder and try to push my head into the pad, pretty simple thing but makes a big difference, i feel like with any reverse band i’m able to work on my form without having to worry about the weight, might just be me but i like my reverse band stuff.

sooo, apparently the college rec where most people lift is closed for a while so we are getting all the people that lift there where i lift. it’s been horrible, it’s been real crowded and i hate every one of them, they all look the same and they do the same retarded shit. they all want to do their retarded acc bullshit expecting results but they aren’t strong enough to get results from what they are doing, and they start benching with 135, big pet peeve of mine, and this one group came in and the first thing they did was curls. i can’t wait til these people leave and go back the rec where nobody cares.

my right hip was still kinda sore from rack pulling the other friday and then squating again on mon so i warmed up like usual then threw on some gear to ease the pressure on my hip even though it’s gonna throw all my numbers off lol.

well that’s pretty much it, my hip was kinda sore so i decided to use some gear, i def got some overload work done, this still shouldn’t be heavy but it kinda was, have to get use to some heavier weight again, my gear is also fitting a lot looser than it was since i’ve lost some size. i switched to my ace because the right leg on my viking briefs is about to split up the seam and i’d rather not have that happen when i’m in the hole so i put on my suit.

that’s it, got in late so i could bench in the monolift cuz my buddy was using it to squat. things didn’t go to bad, i need to work right around the 2 board level for my sticking point, did some higher rep bench to hopefully get back a lil strength endurance also. the incline log went much better and easier than last time, used a different bench so it was a little more inclined than last week. just need to work on a few things form wise on bench but things are coming around.

i hate pretty much everyone that’s been lifting in our gym lately. non of them do any ā€œrealā€ work, everyone is a fucking curl master and just does some acc bullshit. i would say 98 percent of the people that have been in have been mostly doing arm work, it’s ridiculous, and you know how many people have squatted? just a couple, nobody has deadlifted, and the people squatting and benching have some of the worst form i’ve seen. one guy tonight was front squatting and i kinda wanted to tell him he should just not be doing that because honestly it really wasn’t worth his time doing that exercise, he could have gotten a lot more out of something else because his form was sooooo bad…but it’s ok, he had a fo-hawk bandana around his head and a cut off shirt brah. fucking brah people.

i really like the people in the weight room that kinda lift in our little group, but as for the other people…i really dislike them. some guy was doing 1/8 rep bench presses, some other shennanigans and a bunch of foreign people kept just assuming i wasn’t using what i was clearly using. oh well.

well looks like my strength is finally coming back nicely. i would have done ghr but had so much low back pump from the gm’s that i decided to do leg press instead especially since my leg size is still down. and my weight is almost back to where it was, bw 190lbs today.

so i think the rec here is finally open again, there wasn’t very many people in the weight room, so it’s back to the way it should be. but there were some guys in there that kinda just kept looking at me, they weren’t big or strong or anything and then they were talking some ol’ protein bs and the one of the guys commented to the other that he had big arms and it’s not about how strong you are it’s how you look on the street…well the guy that said that couldn’t deadlift 315…i know cuz he said so in conversation with his buddies. they also didn’t do anything real when they were there and the guy that had ā€œbig armsā€ was lat pulling 100lbs with so much body english i don’t think he could have done one semi strict rep. also keep in mind the big arm guy was prolly round 230lbs, the guy that commented on the arms was prolly over 200lbs and couldn’t dead 315, that’s prolly why he makes an excuse about not caring about strength, that way he can justify being bigger but weak as hell. and i saw some random guy doing prolly the worst squatting i’ve ever seen. it made me cringe.

again i feel like i hate to much but it wouldn’t have bothered so much if they wouldn’t have kept mean muggin me, and i think people under estimate strength to much. whatev, i’m just glad that my strength is just about back…on squatting atleast lol.

that’s all, was going to do some incline log press but got talking and decided to skip it. the curls and dips were supersetted and done with little rest in between. my bench is finally increasing again, the last set of 265 went better than the 255 and i still have more weight to put on the bar so that’s good. and jakerz is right, the rec is open and there haven’t been many people in our little weight room so i’ve been much happier lol. think that’s it, things are finally getting closer to where they were soooo baller.

that’s all, pretty sure i got my band tension back to where it originally was, bands pretty much hanging off the bar at top so the weight is true at the top. things went ok, just ok, didn’t feel that easy but didn’t feel that hard, i still have more weight to put on the bar so all is good.

so people completely fucked up our stereo in the gym so we had to use this little shockbox thing. it has like two one inch speakers and we hooked up an ipod to it…but then it died about halfway through my squatwork i think, so that was nice to squat heavy without any music lol.
