1st Natural Competition

Looking skinless and full, you definitely worked your ass off to get shredded and your peak came together perfectly. Pro caliber physique my friend, you’re going to do damage at the next level

Shredded!

Just f-in’ Diced!!

S

Damn dude.

Congrats! That is just awesome.

When you are that shredded, do you need to start worrying about a typical paper cut actually severing an artery or what?

Kidding, but seriously…half of your vascular system looks like it resides outside of your body, it’s almost like you are inside-out.

Awesome job.

Amazing man, I’m really happy for you!

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it. So glad I asked before sticking with Novice

And Thanks so much to all you guys’ help and support, especially Pwolves, Stu, Tim, Lonnie, Myosin. Your feedback and input was invaluable to me, being that I was doing this on my own…I couldn’t have done it without you guys.

I’ll have some more pics up once the photographer is done editing. It feels like such an accomplishment after the work, sacrifice, injuries…I was so nervous about my poses and my routine, which I had just started practicing a couple of weeks before. I wasn’t too sure what to do for peak week but kinda just did my own thing after reading some stuff from Layne Norton, Cliff Wilson,Shelby and threads on this forum. In the end I just made it work for me, nothing too different than my prep. While other competitors were starving and dying of thirst, I was eating my ass off and drinking up.

This is way cool.

Congrats.

Wow, you really nailed it on contest day. Excellent job.

Some more photos came in from the show…Sorry this may be a little too large for web. I’ll try to shrink the next ones.

Rear double bicep

Side tricep

Best quad abdominal

Most muscular, crab

Just added 5 more pics(above). Thanks again for all the feedback guys! I am very grateful. I was invited to the World championships next month, but I don’t think I’m ready for that…financially, time off work, injuries, and just learning how to pose. As many of you know, a contest prep takes a toll on you, so I wasn’t expecting to endure another 3 weeks of it.

I do plan though, to come back next year, with more improvements. I will hire a coach next time and plan to be competitive in the pro-level. This time around I had just learned posing and really didn’t have much of a plan for peak week. I am blessed enough that I usually get awesome pumps which helped me onstage. I have much more to learn and know that I can make improvements with some guidance…so I will definitely be hiring a coach.

That being said, I welcome any feedback, critiques or thoughts on improvements I can make or what to focus on during the offseason. I am looking to return somewhere late spring or summer, but that’s up in the air depending on what’s best for me physically. Just as a reminder, I started around 180 lbs, 12 weeks out, and ended up around 163 contest time. I’m 5’8".

Right now I have shoulder and knee pain that I need to rehab.

Thanks again!

Congrats man! Looking peeled.

I guess this win was sweet redemption after your first comp?

They all look good, but I particularly like the most muscular!

Very nice job - your conditioning was insane!

Awesome job and congrats on the Pro card.

What did you do in your peak week out of interest?
