Recently added in an arms/calves day to try and bring those muscle groups up.
I had just been relying on bench/rows/deadlifts to bring up my arms with no change in size and decided if I wanted arms to grow I needed to work the arms! (same for calves).

Unless you actually provide a picture (so people know what you currently look like) along with a quantifiable goal, this thread and any advice you receive in it will be completely useless.
Man, I love chicken. With that settled, OP and to the rest of the world I don’t believe the malarky of training arms indirectly and they will grow. I dont care for the logic or the results. With the basic barbell curl you’re spinning your wheels in the pursuit of arm growth. Shooting for 200lbs? monitor fat gain and shoot for the stars, man. Fuck 8lbs try to gain as much as you can without turning into the Michelin boy. cheers
Y’all pretty much convinced me to shoot for at least 20 lbs. Obviously long term project there, should be doable in time for my sister’s wedding in Nov. I wanted a new suit anyways :-p
As long as my jeans aren’t getting tight and the scale and weight on the bar is moving…I will consider that a success.
You look what you weigh, you should tighten the diet a little bit if you don’t feel comfortable with your current bodyfat, and get to 200 or more if you feel alright.
Well, we need some legs and back to see what’s really up. I think that maybe doing a smidge of cardio, keeping calories the same, and trying to gain some strength on main lifts would be a good goal. I’m just a nobody though, do what you feel best doing. I’ve been bulking for months and months and putting tons of fat on, but getting stronger, so I said fuck it, may as well just get fatter. There will be plenty of time to look good when I can cut from 270 to 240 solid.

Thanks for honest feedback.
Hooray for cheap ass calipers. I knew it was reading way too low. I should use my machinist calipers but then I’d just cut myself.

What the BF% from the caliper reading equates to is not important…only that the site reading are moving in the correct direction…from there the mirror is the ‘Go/No-Go’ gauge. At close to 200lbs it’s your strength & training intensity you need to focus on. Size Follows Stength!
I second that you are probably closer to 20% bodyfat, but I stand by what i said before. Just make sure you are gaining about 1-1.5 lbs. for week and that your strength is increasing every week. If you think you are gaining too much fat, add in a little cardio and once you get to 210, decide if you are ready to cut or not. It’s cake baby. Eat it.
