19 Year Old Australia, Symptoms of Low T

Sounds like it yes. I would depend on how your body responds. My e2 dropped when taking T. By the way I’m coming off T now to see what my problem is.

I would not take adex alone though, E2 is vital also and should not be low

Yesterday’s temperatures, 27th June

6:00am — 96.6
9:40am — 97.7
10:30am — 96.9
8:00pm — 97.5

Today’s morning temperature

4:00 am — 96.4

I have misplaced my thermometer, so I can’t do anymore measurements until I find it again. I think the picture is clear.

Just an update, I need to highlight how bad my memory and my ability to process my surroundings has gone. Usually, my normal symptoms involve fatigue, brain fog and real apathy for everything. In the last few weeks, my condition has gotten worse, much worse then I have ever experienced in my life. Usually I am still able to my conceptual ability to complete visualizations of my course work. Through this method, I have been able to completely structure all my course work form a few assumptions. From their I was able to use my logic sense to decipher what questions entail by, by using this method. I have been able to do this, with varying degree, for the last 2 years. My ability to now do this has completely vanished. This is precisely due to the collapse of my short term memory. In the questions I do now, it’s extremely easy for my to completely forget what I am reading within 10 seconds. I lose myself when I start completing the answers because I forget what I am doing. Note, this is a stark difference from what I know I can do. These questions that I am forgetting are questions that are very easy for me normally.

Because of this, I have failed my last 2 exams very badly. I had studied enough for them, to what I usually would to get a HD. My brain was extremely slow, I couldn’t process information. I honestly feel like I am starting to get alzeihmers. It’s honestly the worst feeling when you have so much motivation for work now and the future, but being completely denied by the ability you know you have, involuntarily.

I would like to indicate possible changes that may have led to this.

So 1) I have been given a prescription of modafinil late last November after I highlighted to my GP of my fatigue, and how potenitally modafinil properly the best bet for me in curbing my fatigue until I had found out the issue. I have bought generic modafinil, Modalert, from the internet from a source then many other users use on Reddit, who seem to suggest that it’s exactly how it feels on the prescription. I have been taken the generic form for around 1.5 months. I feel that if there were any issue with the generic form, those side effects would have occurred early then what I am experiencing now. I started feeling what I am feeling now around 2 weeks ago.

  1. Vitamin D intake. I have in the last 2 weeks consumed around 140,000 IU, which averages to 10,000IU per day. I really don’t know if I can contribute the way I feel from this. I do know that too much Vitamin D may possibly put out of balance Vitamin A and K, but I have been taking a multi-vit in conjunction, so I do not know if this is cause.

  2. One of the intrinsic side effects of modafinil is appetite suppression, (assuming due to it’s adrenalin uptake inhibitor properties). The last few weeks I have lost 2 kgs and have been eating very little, say around 1000-1500 calories per day. I have been still getting in 100gm of protein. I have absolutely no appetite. I probably could go a few days without food. I haven’t been drinking much water either. I do believe that my condition has worsen primarily because of this. The only reason I am still on modafinil is that I am too fatigued without it. I am really at a loss.

My condition really needs to improve soon, otherwise I don’t think I’ll be able to enrol in unversity for next semester. I can’t do it. If I had to live like this for the rest of my life, I would commit suicide.

Fuck so angry!!! :—)

Old iodine is still iodine unless some evaporates or emits a beta particle.

Brain fog: Can be from low T or low thyroid function, you have both. [pointing you in the right direction]

Meds for fatigue are dealing with a symptom.

Ya see a doctor, A good one

Ok, so I have been in contact with a good endocrinologist. He said he wants to do something for me, I just need a referral. I am booking an appointment with a GP who owns 3 clinics in my country area. I am going to assume that this achievement translates do a curious nature, so hopefully he will listen to what I am saying. I am doing an all nighter tonight just in case he is not convinced and wants to draw blood. I am do not want to wait any longer.

For the last 3 days I have not taken any modafinil, and have been sleeping around 8-12 hours every night. I feel better, but I am back to my normal self.

The iodine that I have is kelp, and there is 1/3 of a bottle left. It has 20 capsules of 150mcg so there is only really enough there for 1 -2 days supply. I went to go looking for some more today, but all 3 stores just had topical Iodine and Iodine prescriptions. I probably will order some online if I can’t find any.

I have a feeling that this endocrinologist is good.

Would also like to note that my testicles have been aching a little bit lately. It’s more of a rare occurrence, and doesn’t last too long, but I think it’s the first time I have really ever experienced it. My balls seem a little smaller too. Maybe to that of a medium-large grape?

Do me a favour and let the Doctor decide what to do about the thyroid and Stay away from the fuckn iodine…

I went to GP today and I got a referral for this endocrinologist. I was very up front, was blunt and showed him the 2 low T results. It was clear that he didn’t really know about testosterone. He said my last result of 340 was normal. My 120 and 250 result and my bluntness got me a referral in 2 minutes. Good result.

Which direction should I take with the endo? I think I am going to let him say what he thinks before I go into what I have researched, and what I think. Going into the endo appointment, I am going to bring studies and evidence to base my logic so that he doesn’t think I am basing my thoughts from forum searching and other ‘invalid’ sources.

Because my symptoms are pretty bad, I do not think a HPTA restart will be the right way to go. In all honesty, I would much rather be able to restart my HPTA ONLY if when I do this, all my symptoms are alleviated. In all honesty I don’t really care about the numbers, I only care about the symptoms, numbers provide a indication only. I do believe I am secondary, LH is low. I obviously have hypothyroidism (subclinical). I do doubt that he’ll point my thyroid out, but he does say he is an expert in the HPTA region. I am going to try Iodine after discussion with the endo.

Wow check this out. I think he definitely knows his stuff. He has contributed to an Australian paper on a study about iodine deficiency and TSH!!

These are other papers that he has contributed to.

Iodine is very impotAnt for our bodies. 50 mg per day is insane

Ok so an update. My endo said he is back from holidays on July 8th, should be getting an appointment soon!

I had my last exam today. I tried to study, total of 6 hours. I did not retain any information from this study. It was like it went through my head. I would like to re enstate that this is the complete opposite to what I used to be. I used to be able to do only 5 hours and memories the whole course, and completely understand all concepts highlighted. I struggled to use simple parabolic projectile motion equations today. My memory is so bad.

It’s come to the point that I can not easily do much that involves any thinking. I constantly find that my mind is blank, i.e. I am not thinking about anything. It feels like as if you switch to a channel that has no broadcast, my brain is filled with constant noise with no variability. I am kind of getting symptoms of ADD because I can’t concentrate on anything.

I have completely lost my appetite. I usually can not stop thinking about my food, but now I hate eating food, even when I know I am hungry. I have not taken modafinil in 5 days.

My testicles are starting to hurt more. I am getting this sharp pain more and more often in my left testicle and sometimes on my right (less often). I have noticed this in the last week. I never really ever had any pain of this nature before (from what I remember).

I have told anyone this yet, I kinda forgot. I had an undescending testicle when I was born. I guess that highlights a genetic component to my pituitary function. My testicles sometimes go back into my abdomen, especially when I am cold. When I am cold it’s very easy to have my left testicle sit my abdomen. I have to physically push it down because it hurts if I try to sit down or move around when it’s in.

Lol I had this problem of testicles lifting to stomach when I was younger. This is annoying but it did go away. As for your other problems… You need to read the stickys and get more labs.

I wish you the best man, I would be checking. The adrenals the thyroid the pituitary and of course your balls. Do a semen analysis and see how your count is I can give you the other labs you should check but if you read the stickies they are all there I believe.

I have red all the stickies. It’s just a matter of time now. I did a bit more research on thyroid function. It seems that some people recommend taking selenium as well as Iodine for thyroid. I didn’t right the info done when I saw the information.

U should just stay away from the shit and find out what’s wrong first. I’m done saying that though do whatever u like

Ok so just an update.

I have been eating much more healthier in the last week. No refined sugars and lots of fibrous and nutritious food. Even though I have been eating a lot of fibrous food, I haven’t passed a stool in 2.5 days. For the last 2 years I have had bad bowel movements. I have gone for 1 week without passing stool. Usually I pass a stool every 2-3 days. From what I understand, this is a problem.

I got an appointment with that endocrinologist I was talking about. He gave me an appointment for the 14th of November. Pretty mad. My aunty is a receptionist at my University’s GP clinic. She says she knows a good GP who is young and educated.

Since I have been eating really well, my body temperatures have risen. This morning I hit 97.5 F and yesterday I hit 98.1 F. I am going to record for the next few days to see where it’s at.

I think that my thyroid issue is manageable and I have bought Iodine. It has 233mcg per drop, and the bottle contains 1400 drops so I have more then enough Iodine.

This is where I believe I am at. I feel as if doctor’s are going to be reluctant to give me an AI or hCG. I can get T injections. I need some opinions here. Should I buy arimidex and hCG online and get the T from the doctor? Should I organize it such that I have an AI and the hCG in hand when I am prescribed testosterone?

I really don’t want to take Iodine solely because I don’t want my condition to improve before the doctor’s, for the fear that I’ll be borderline and disallowed treatment. How much do you think Iodine will effect the hypogonadic state, and do you believe that the lack of sleep and poor food comsumption before an appointment can counteract possible androgen benefit from Iodine?

Have you ever done an injection??

You are 19 years old…I would want an answer to why I’m having a problem…

You have T tunnel vision…

Your symptoms and the fact that u have no hair says you have had low T for a long time. I’m wondering if in a few weeks you come back and say I still feel like shit.

I cannot offer this kind of advice so ill leave this for ksman

I wish you good luck though and I hope whatever you do helps.

.

In comparison to an average 19 year old, I am much more active and healthy. Pretty well more conscientious about how I approach myself. Although I have infrequent bowel movements, I am not constipated when I pass. Most of the time they are really healthy passes.

I have red that the GI tract is more important then what people think it is. It can be a precursor to many issues that seem to be indirect from the GI tract. Going to a gastroenterologist maybe advantageous.

The reason I have T tunnel vision is that I am in a rush to treat myself before University starts in 3 weeks. I am being unrealistic, but I am desperate to be honest.

I have never done an injection.

My headspace atm is to find a treatment plan that works according to my symptoms. The next 10 years of my life are the most important years. I do not want to be sitting here for 4 years trying to find out what the detailed problem is when I could have used those 4 years in attempting treatment options. I would rather try a treatment option and stop it if it doesn’t work, or continue it if it does work. I see it that if my thyroid levels aren’t drastically problematic, and most of my symptoms seem to fit low T, I will try T treatment without hesitation.

In Australia, you have to wait 4 months to see an endocrinologist. I don’t have this time. If worse comes to worse I’ll buy Test E from a known source. Time is of the essence here.

Where did you get this androgen benefit from iodine? This isn’t going to happen lol
