1800+ Raw Total And 800+ Deadlift Drug Free 181 Class

Managed a set on bench today 348x4 and a single at 381. Was aiming for 5 but a bit out of reach. 4s not too bad considering my best set of 4 is 350 with a lift off. I think I may be able to take a run at 400-407 ish in the next 4-6 weeks.

Snatch grip conventional moved pretty good today. Pulled up to 405x6 and 455x8.

Hit 343 for a paused set of 4 yesterday. Aside from the last few weeks where bench has been great my best paused 4 was 330. Doing away with pullups seems to be doing a lot of good. Occasionally I feel a bit funky mostly from the self unrack but no pain at all. Planning going for a double at 376 and or single at 390 ish in the next week with a buddy giving me a lift off.

Still can’t go into squat too much with my knee but had one of my better deadlift sets today. About 709x4. I’ve only pulled one better set for 4 at 723 and it was mid 2020 so this was huge for me

Had longer work days this week. Managed to squat yesterday 375x15 and tonight I hit bench 354 for a double paused and 409 double with the slingshot. I am toying with the idea of 730-740 for 2-4 reps next week on deadlift and a big single at 771-782 in the next 2-3 weeks. The heavy bench didn’t go this week cause I couldn’t get out early enough to get a spotter and lift off. Well see how next week plays out.

Pushed my conventional today. I pulled 495x10 with 2 left. 10 matches my lifetime pr but I was not looking to break it. Going to take off tomorrow, bench Sunday, off Monday and as of now planning the big sumo reps for Tuesday unless I feel beat up.

Just hit 375.5 bench double for a 5.5 lb all time pr. Moved way better than I expected. Not enough for a third but had a few lbs in there I think. Mentally I told myself I was going 350x5 seems to help.

Forgot also hit 140s on dB press for a set of 10. Don’t think I’ve ever done that before.

Pr’s are few and far between anymore. Gaining done bodyweight helped. I think I’ll be ball parking a deadlift pr soon and squat was flying until my knee issue. I am gonna try to go no higher than 210 to compete 198 still. Sitting about 200 now

Good and bad news. Ripped 734 for a triple and moved great. Hook grip came a bit loose and regripped for the third rep but never during the set did I feel I was going to miss the rep other than having the third one slip. Always feels shitty quickly regripping mid set. Bad news I forgot to record. Was all hyped up and had a buddy taking pictures so I had to make sure to hold at the top. Just completely forgot to record. Looking like I might go 760 for a double in a week ish and possibly go 782 the same day or the following week ish.

Also knee feels like it’s 20 years old again.

Benched top set of 343x5 tng and slingshot 408x2 if I had a spotter I mightve taken a triple there. Little back and chest accessories and took the 120 dbs for a set of 15 at the end of the workout.
Gonna see how the knee feels next squat day but so far feels good. For the hell of it I rolled the other one cause it’s probably tight also and it might be helping my sciatic nerve pain. If this works I might be back on track to put up a big total next comp. Nagging injuries kept holding back my training. Bench and deadlift are going great for me right now. I really want to go along the lines of 606/396/804 at 198. Deadlift and bench are closing in. Squat was close a few months back before it went to shit.

Took today easier. Snatch grip deadlift 405x10 and squats top sets just 415x3 and 435x3. They felt heavy because I pulled before hand but overall just happy with how my knee felt. Sciatic nerve pain on the other side also seems to be going away. Didn’t even occur to me that calves could be the cause of a lot of my pain and it’s playing out that it was. 5 months of squat wasted. That’s a lot of time when I’m already 32.

Hit the 150s on dumbell press for a set of 6. Not bad, I was still a bit tired going into the gym today.

Wanted to see how my knee felt today. Worked up to a double in squat at 505 moved pretty good. Not as weak as I thought I was. No pain in the knee at all.

Told myself I was gonna back off the heavy bench weight for a bit and this morning found myself loading 386 for a single. Moved alright.

Hit a double at 761.5 about 45 min ago. Thought about going 782-787 but decided against it cause the hype was dying down. Was not the time to push for more. Followed it up with an easy set of squats at 465x4 with about 4 more in the tank. Zero knee pain still.

Kind of wondering if I should take a break from really heavy squat to maybe see if I can’t take a shot at the tested 198 deadlift world record. Jesse Norris has it at 825 lbs. In reality on a good day I do feel 793 is something I might consider loading. basing it off my 734 triple and dropping a rep going up 27.5 lbs. I think another 31.5lbs isn’t asking too much for a single. With some work im not far off if I did a deadlift only meet
