But yeah, I gotta be honest, I without question get my quality meals in, or at least some form of protein in me (ON TIME, every 1-3 hours) on a regular basis. I make sure to eat my good carbs, lean protein, and good fats before eating anything else. I never drink liquid with calories,- juice, soda, ect. And always start my day with eggs and lots of oatmeal. It’s ALWAYS ALWAYS after my workouts or on non training days where i replenish my body with simple carbs (sugars). But pretty much never anytime else. In my experience, after a tough workout you need to eat eat eat! Simple carbs directly after my workouts have helped immensely with recovery and growth. I eat a lot of anything after my workouts with the exception of high amounts of fats. (of course maybe some of u are callin shinanigans cuz of the ben+jerry’s) But directly after a workout I do not consume any type of fats because fats can slow protein synthesis. I usually have a protein shake with honey mixed in and then i follow that up with dinner- yams and steak, or brown rice and chicken. THEN i’ll eat a pint of icecream of whatever i feel a craving for.

I really should start at least a lil bit of cardio, it would no doubt help my training, and probably wouldn’t effect my bulking much at all. [/quote]

OMFG you totally won’t stay lean when you bulk if you eat any carbs! Anyway bulking doesn’t help put on any muscle.
