Great physique on a young guy.
The younger generation today can really teach the old guys a few lessons!

Okay im 18 years old, these are the highest levels of test ill ever have. I eat steak, yams, oatmeal, fruit, tuna, turkey, chicken, and eggs. stuffing my face all day long hating it too. I’ve worked my ass off for two years and done this shit on my own- thankyou much. Thanks for the complement tho.
REALLY makes me wish I’d started younger, or at least continued beyond the few months at 18 when I trained without any appreciable knowledge of lifting or eating.
Good work.
Do you have any plans to compete in the future? You seem to have a good frame to work with.

I want to compete yes, but still want to add more bulk before i do. I dunno, I love bodybuilding, but school is my top priority. So i guess it depends on the progress i make this winter and if im feeling up to it. Of course, yes i want to compete at least once, take my lumps, whatever it may be. At least i can say i gave it a shot.

good way of thinking.
keep school your priority,
I think you will do well with that attitude.
and the fact that at 18 you can accept advice that goes to show something as well.
looks like good work to me
You’re impressive, great physique, not just for your age, period. And you seem mature, best of luck to you I’m sure you’ll go far.
Thanks much. I’ll post again after winter bulk. Thanks again to everyone, comments positive or not. Both are appreciated.
Damn.

Its the fact thats hes only worked out for 1.5 years.
He said he started at 155 and hes 203 in 1.5 years ? If he started at like 180 Id see nothing fishy, but 155 is rather light for his so called “freak genetics”.
48 pounds of muscle in 1.5 years ? naturally Id say thats unlikely
Thats 33 pounds a year, mabey the first year you train you could get 25 pounds from newbie gains, but I dont see it as very likely he would be able to maintain or exceed that at 30+ pounds a year.
48 pounds is doable, but not without some fat gain, he made 48 lean gains from the looks of it.
Is a 5’10 200 pounds build attainable at his age ? of course, I think I was 205 or so and 6 foot at 18, is it likely that he attained that level in 1.5 years from a 155 pounds base ?
Not really likely, possible, but unlikely, Ive had alot of experience with young guys going on gear and I stand by my assertions. Agian if hes clean, he can just dismiss me, I would not ask him to say hes on gear, I would infact ask that if he is he doesnt say, AAS is a private matter that only perhaps your doc should know about.
I realize how jerkish it is for me to say such a thing on a public forum and I should have just PM-ed him, but whats done is done, and I still feel I should atleast reveal my thought process for my posts.
And agian IF he is running gear or even PH’s, then he does need to get some tests done.
Im still going to rate him a 9, because no matter what, he still has a very balanced and impressive build, and is obviously doing a very good job with his diet and routine, his gains are very impressive.
Back development especially is impressive, many young guys don’t bother to workout their back because its not a mirror muscle, and I feel a strong back is the mark of an intelligent and experienced lifter.
Well when i started I had an eating disorder- so I was way underweight to begin with. when i started eating “like i should” my body returned to a normal weight level. Thereafter i began to exceed my normal weight level.
So yes 155 does seem a bit low, but its because i dealing with an eating disorder at the time- so I started doing things the correct way- my body quickly responded and put at least 10 lbs back on my frame within a matter of a couple weeks. But i DID start at 155 and am now around 200 and its been about 2 years.
I appreciate your skepticism tho west. Its what a responsible BB and poster looks for…the truth. I enjoy being on this forum, giving and seeking advice. And I don’t want to steer anyone in the wrong direction so, NO i wouldnt lie about this.
I remember when i first started BB, i would look at pictures of amateur BB’s that say there were natural and I would be like “no fuckin way.” After experiencing that, I wouldn’t want to lie to anyone starting a lifestyle like BB.
BB is tough enough as it is and I wouldn’t ever want to give anyone false hope.
West, thanks for the rating tho. Its nice to have guys on here that take the time really input their thoughts and explain why they think that way.
Good stuff.

i throw abs in wherever i feel like it. I need to train forearms tho.
it aint about the routine tho, if u bust ur ass in the gym, lifting heavy and to failure you’ll do fine. Its about the diet and rest. Bust mostly diet, imo. Slow burning carbs and protein- Red meat, lean meat, and eggs.
Your chest looks very “full” like your upper and lower chest are equally developed, would you say those incline flys/presses and cable crossovers created that?

I wanna say that the cables helped a lot, but i usually alternate one week do cables next week flys. as in I’ll do 4 sets of flys one week and 2 sets of cables. then the next week ill do 4 sets of cables and 2 sets of flys.
Yeah, I don’t do cables or fly’s just flat/incline bench with barbell/dumbbells and chest dips.
Machine fly’s or DB flys?
I do DB
Very fucking impressive. Your back thickness is unreal. 405 x 10 deads is pretty damn good too, so I can definately see why your back looks like it does.
I’ve been in a similiar situation, starting out way underweight and bulking and making huge gains in the last 12months, but how do you manage to stay so lean? Do you do any cardio, or just restrict your carbs?
You seem to do a really high amount of sets to, but whatever your doing its obviously working well.
Your forearms don’t match with your body though, but you know this already.
actually man, I haven’t done any form of cardio in over a year. I pretty much eat whatever i want, but of course i’ve learned to listen to my body. Learned to eat my quality food before giving into cravings. other than that I eat whatever I want.
Usually having over 3 ben and jerry pints of icecream a week. I just bust my ass in the gym, usually on leg day or back day i have to sit in my car for a good 20 min before its safe to drive.
yea, my forearms suck, i use those damn wrist straps…need to stop that shit.
But yeah, I gotta be honest, I without question get my quality meals in, or at least some form of protein in me (ON TIME, every 1-3 hours) on a regular basis. I make sure to eat my good carbs, lean protein, and good fats before eating anything else. I never drink liquid with calories,- juice, soda, ect. And always start my day with eggs and lots of oatmeal. It’s ALWAYS ALWAYS after my workouts or on non training days where i replenish my body with simple carbs (sugars). But pretty much never anytime else.
In my experience, after a tough workout you need to eat eat eat! Simple carbs directly after my workouts have helped immensely with recovery and growth. I eat a lot of anything after my workouts with the exception of high amounts of fats. (of course maybe some of u are callin shinanigans cuz of the ben+jerry’s) But directly after a workout I do not consume any type of fats because fats can slow protein synthesis. I usually have a protein shake with honey mixed in and then i follow that up with dinner- yams and steak, or brown rice and chicken. THEN i’ll eat a pint of icecream of whatever i feel a craving for.
I really should start at least a lil bit of cardio, it would no doubt help my training, and probably wouldn’t effect my bulking much at all.
