hey guys i’m 17 been training abt 2 yrs just wanted to know where my weak points are and how i should go abt improving them! personally i think my arms are weak so yea. anws my stats are
height:176cm
weight:74kg
Squat:140kg
Deadlife:140kg
Bench:120kg
my lower body’s kinda weak i know.only started training em abt 6 months ago.before that i was only doing bench and curls lol. so yea.
Oh and i really need some advice on how to get bigger arms.i’ve been doing tons of curls and rowing excercises(only my back grows) and yet my arms are still small (16 inches) i would like 17.5 inches without putting on too much fat.does anyone have any suggestions?
my typical arm workout would be
4 exercises for 4 sets for biceps
and
4 excercises for 4 sets for triceps
Your weak points would have to be you arms.
so it’d usually take close to 2 hours and i kinda suspected i’m over training but if i don’t do that many sets i won’t ache the next day…hmm once again any advice would be appreciated! thanks :)[/quote]
also more mass would make you look better not to mention bigger.

how should i go abt doing that without putting on too much fat?
you need to do a bulk. that is just my opinion. do you train your arms so much they overtrain and dont grow or do you not train them enough??? you need to find that medium. i think your back and shoulders are good.
add a few more calouries and you will be dialed in for some serious massiveness.

thanks erm what do u do for your arms? i train them abt 2 times per week excluding my back shoulder chest workout just isolation.i think i’m overtraining but they don’t ache within a couple of days and as curls and presses are not v taxing i tend to do them loll
Very impressive for a 17 year old, Where in Singapore do you train. I’m from Singapore as well. Up your food intake and go for progressively heavier weights - this should be the prime time of your life to get big due to typical hormonal profiles (and I had to miss the bloody window of opportunity). However if you are serving your NS, especially infantry, its gonna be hard to pack on the mass with all the daily running > 10km and crap food.

hey thanks! lol i usually train at bishan or yio chu kang depending on where my friends wanna go.public gyms
u go to the private gyms?
Yup I’ve been going to the gym near my office in Novena, its cheap and the trainers leave me alone which is great. Equipment is basic but they have one power rack which no one else uses for doing anything meaningful. This, heavy weights & some cable machine is all I need at the moment considering the level of development I am at - only been training for 5 years.
Correct me if I’m wrong ppl but you shouldn’t measure a good workout from how much you “ache”. DOMS and muscle soreness =/= increased strength and size.
I agree, bulk and (IMO) focus on compound exercises. I think it was a recent “bastards on biceps” article on here that i read "if you cant do 3 full sets of chinups you shouldnt even bother doing isolation exercises.
