17 Y.O. Girl Warming Up With Your Max

@everyone i thought they said the big girl benches 340

My girlfriend and training partner actually got 185 on deads this week, raw. She only weighs 100 so she’s approaching this girls deadlift.

She also squats 135 and benches 100. Yet she refuses to compete…

Thanks very much for posting that. Pretty inspiring.

I guess I better get the lead out and improve my numbers:)

Indeed. I can pull 245, but I definetly don’t weigh 97 pounds. Looks like I really have to work on that.

Awesome. It’s a female like that that’s fit to receive my seed.

About as entertaining as the WNBA

That’s supposed to be impressive??? I can deadlift that weight in my sleep and at only 50 pounds heavier, and that is her max? Let me know when she is pulling 400 or even 500. At least she and her friends are training hard. Houston is the fattest city in the U.S. last I checked and their youth could use more role models like them.

Is it impressive for someone who weighs 150lbs? Not really. Is it impressive for someone who weights 100lbs? Absolutely. Try putting it in perspective next time.

That said this is my new ammunition to use when a girl tells me she doesn’t want to get too big lifting weights.

We warm up with the same weights at least, and she haunts my quest for 601.

Props to Becca.

I think you also have to consider her age. She’s only 17 (maybe 18?) so she’s probably only been training seriously for a short amount of time. I’d say it’s definitely impressie for a HS athlete. She definitely has the potential to pull a bigger weight if she sticks with it.

If that poster is a guy then the REALLY sad thing is that he’s comparing himself to a 17 year old girl who’s 66% of his weight. And still feeling good about being stronger than her…

i share your exact same thoughts…

im pretty sure BF was joking

I’m pretty sure at a weight like 97lbs. that kind of weight is more than impressive…

Thanks for posting this. I’d love it if more high schools had girls powerlifting. All we learned to do in high school was play kickball and push weight around on the fucking leg press…
