1500 ng/dL Test Level, but Low E2 Level with No AI

My most recent blood test shows that my testosterone level is 1500 ng/dL but my estradiol level is only 10.8 pg/mL.

Current cycle is 350mg Test, 500mg Primo, 100mg NPP. Also using 2iu GH per day, along with 500mg metformin and 40mg telmisartan. No AI.

As I understand, the primo will modulate the levels of androgens in my body to allow for more estrogen to be tolerated, but doesn’t actually lower estrogen levels and I can’t figure out why my E2 level would be so low. Even if something I’m using is bunk gear, I don’t know of anything that could lower estrogen like that. Unless I just have an naturally abnormally low level of aromatase enzyme?

Not sure how I would go about fixing this, other than lowering primo and raising test dose to see if that makes a difference? Any help would be appreciated.

I mean, NPP and Primo are known for low aromatase activity, but that is REALLY low e2 regardless.

You could add in HCG and see if that boosts estrogens, but tbh i have no clue what would cause your estrogen levels to be that low.

Do you have any natty blood tests to compare to?

I’ve not heard this before. What mechanism allows this?

I thought Primo lowered e2, much like Masteron

I have some HCG on hand so will try this and see what happens.

Yes, full natty before starting anything years ago E2 was at 16.7 pg/mL, with testosterone at 660 ng/dL. Most recent off cycle “natty” results were 11.9 pg/mL for E2 and 588 ng/dL for testosterone. So I guess it’s always been somewhat low but that still doesn’t explain it staying that low when using 350mg test…

By the looks of my blood results, perhaps you’re right… but as far as I knew there is no direct AI effect of primo or masteron, but rather raising androgens which do not aromatise (DHT derivatives) allows for more estrogen to be tolerated before experiencing side effects.

I.E. a ‘high’ estrogen level on paper can be tolerated well when androgens are also high, allowing for a healthier cycle as estrogen is cardio/neural/renal protective, not to mention important for anabolsim.

No, its displaces E2 at the receptors. Your E2 would still be elevated but the receptors in breast tissue etc don’t react to it.

OP @jjs1795 I spoke with some other folks on a different forum about this. It seems that Primo can lower estrogen in some, or it can stay the same, or it can elevate it… it’s just an individual thing - kind of like the issues some have on Nandrolone.

Would you consider lowering your Primo dose a tad and raising your Test? Or do you want to give that HCG>Estrogen a trial run?

Thank you for this, I very much appreciate it.

I’ve already started on the HCG and was planning on lowering primo to 350mg and raising test to 500mg. Would you recommend both at the same time or might that be overkill?

I like to dial one thing in at a time to help reduce variables, but I’m also anal retentive about most stuff too - either way is probably okay.

I almost wonder if your test was compounded with an AI unbeknownst to you. I’ve seen some TRT clinics do that, which is fucking stupid. It’s possible UL would as well.

It’s the primo. I am a heavy aromatizer even on 100 mg test. 500 testosterone and 400 primo tanked my estrogen to 7!
It took me a couple weeks to understand where it’s coming from. After Stopping the primo it took me 4 weeks to aromatize again. Found out that I am not the only one. Plenty people report the same. It seems like if You wanna take primo you should at least do a 2:1 ratio test/primo…
Very bad because for me there is no way to take 1000 primo. I would have to compensate with 2000 test. Nah…:even tho my e2 was low i didn’t have any low e2 symptoms other than low libido.

Masteron 3:1 to not get low e2 symptoms even tho my e2 is just masked unlike primo
