$15 to Flip a Burger

No one is blaming Marx. I’m just laughing at how much some sound like a disciple.

Why stop at living wage. The government should choose how much EVERYONE gets paid. That is a grand idea.

I personally could live with 12 dollars and hour . but you will never get what you want you have to start high and negotiate down

Why should someone who can’t afford a family go and start one? Why should that kind of irresponsible decision be subsidized? Should all wages be commensurate with the size of a person’s family?

^According to the chart you don’t need to make $15/hr until the “family unit” is 6 or more people to be above the Federal poverty line. Or to have a “living wage,” again whatever that is.

When you can’t make a logic argument I suppose the last resort is to completely make shit up now.

When you think like this, it sort of explains our entire government in a nutshell.

This is an accurate representation of how far your little “idea” here can travel.

I’m just surprised that anyone who is literate could actually think your statement made sense.

Yep. When voting “rights” were expanded to include basically everyone, it was only a matter of time until this country became something it was not intended to be.

It is a failure of our education system, not that everyone’s rights were rightly recognized. Although I feel like you were being sarcastic.

It is interesting to note that quite a few of the classic economists felt that public education was/is a must in order for an economy to thrive. So, some government intervention, and I can only assume, taxation is called for, even from great “defenders” of the free market.

He told me the Federal poverty line, which is about $5 bucks/hr by my calculation.

The last 2 pages have pretty much blown my mind though, so who knows.

I was told I was a chump because only chumps make less than $20 an hour.

CroatianRage got a better outcome than me ha.

Yes, I’m not a chump!!

To be fair, I don’t think that was Pitt that said that though, believe it was Zep or Zecarlo

What does taking something from someone and giving it to someone else sound like?

Haha, that’s not how much I make, that’s how much is budgeted for living expenses. Remember how mad people got at McDonalds for offering a sample budget for their employees? What an odd thing to get mad at.

I love it when people ask idiotic questions like, “How am I supposed to afford 3 kids on minimum wage” or “that budget will not work for people with kids”. To that I am just baffled. Did you really think you should have children if you only had a minimum wage job. If you cant afford the condom to keep from having the little bastards then what makes you think you can afford a kid. But then people are like, “so you think that only rich people should have babies?” No I just think that grown ups should be the only people having babies and grown ups only take on responsibilities (like children) that they can afford.
