10ml Vial Usage

Hi All

My clinic has moved me to cyp 2000mg/10ml vial for my protocol @ 0.3ml twice a week.

In moving me to this, they raised the integrity of the rubber when piercing it too many times with 23g and administering with 25g into the glute, as this vial is to last me the next 3 months. And with that, said I should move to 27g pin for drawing and shallow IM injection in either the delt or quad.

Is the integrity something to be concerned about when injecting twice a week, drawing up with 23g pin? As Iā€™ve only just gotten use to IM glute injection, so prefer to stick with that over moving to delt or quad if I donā€™t have to

Is my clinic being overly cautious with the piercing frequency using 23g or is this something to mindful of and I should move to shallow IM with the 27g

You should be fine with piercing a vial multiple times over a period of time. Iā€™ve never had an issue with this. The important part is to make sure to wipe the lid of the vial well with an alcohol pad before drawing to keep everything hygienic and avoid infection.
I draw with 18g and inject with 30g. I highly recommend using 30g for injections, especially with twice weekly injections. With longer test esters such as cypionate and enanthate you really only need to inject once a week. I take the same dose as you, injecting only once a week. By week 6 your levels will be stable. For me they range between about 600 at trough and 850 at peak.
