That’s because most of us were smart enough to NOT rent that one.[/quote]
I saw it on cable one night. Wow. Its terrible and hilarious. Not unwatchable though, like some of the other IMDb bottom 100, if you want to laugh at the awfulness.
House of the Dead was unwatchable. But Epic Movie. I wanted to commit violence after that shit. And F*CKING ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW!!! Gah! I’ve seen some really bad movies and I’ll give most of them a chance, but those three are stand outs.

I bought the House of The Dead on dvd. I then quickly used it as a frisbee while driving hoping to do enough damage to it that no one else will ever have to suffer through it. Thinking back, I should have burned it and spread the ashes. That’s what they do to vampires.
Personal taste is such a bitch…
BTW: How could someone hate Hudson Hawk? That’s in the the so bad it’s good category.
The Waterboy was a piece of utter crap, but not so utterly crap as to top some of Sandler’s other truly abortionate cinematic efforts.
I would include these [as movies I’ve seen]
[1] Crash - not the Oscar winner, the freakfest by Cronenberg
[2] Erin Brokavich[sp] - A Julia Roberts ego-fest from A-Z. Let’s be grateful she and Steve Tyler never hooked up, can you imagine the amount of plastic surgery those kids would need on their mouths?
[3]Eraserhead - I normally love David Lynch but I hadn’t taken nearly enough drugs to enjoy this one

Nobody mentioned these yet??
Johnny Mnemonic
Blair Witch
Signs
Hostage (Bruce Willis)
Matrix sequels
All make my eyes bleed. I think I actually yelled ‘Are you kidding me!’ at Johnny Mnemonic.
I didnt realize I could get my money back at that time. Now I have no such ignorance.

I thought hostage was pretty good…the matrix sequels I also didnt think were bad just didnt really live up to the hype after the first one. signs did suck though total borefest.

What really sucked was that Roberts never even mentioned the real Brockovitch when she accepted the award…f’crissake she wouldnt have even been nominated were it not for the real person she portrayed…
That Julia is a real Beeyotch’ (Denzel’s wife was visibly pissed when Julia physically jumped all over him when he won his 2nd oscar…Julia has about as much class as her fellow southerner Britney)…

What the hell was wrong with Hostage?
I agree that the Matrix sequels paled in comparison to the original but they weren’t complete pieces of unwatchable crap like some of the movies listed in this thread. They weren’t “Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy”.
I don’t know if any of you have ever seen it (it’s so bad that it’s rarely talked about), but the movie “Manos: The Hands of Fate” is without a doubt the worst movie ever made. It is so bad, in fact, that several of the actors committed suicide after the movie’s release when they realized their careers were ruined by making such a god awful film.
Did anyone see “Ultraviolet”? That previews made it look somewhat enjoyable. I always love hot chicks kicking ass…but it turned out to be one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen.

Ultracrap…aka, Ultravomit inducing script written by someone on an acid trip. It pissed me off because after Resident Evil, I was expecting more from her. By the end of the movie it looked like the special effects crew had even given up on it.
One movie I can’t stand is “Million Dollar Baby.” For some reason none of the drama seems legit to me and I thought the fight scenes sucked. I’m sure a lot of people liked it but I can’t stand it. Obviously not a “Top 10 Worst”, but one of those movies that a lot of people liked but I thought was dumb as hell.
Also, you’ve got to get the distinction between “bad” and “enjoyably bad”.
Battlefield: Earth- bad
Bring it On- enjoyably bad

The problem with the Matrix series is that it should’ve been a series of books instead of movies.
Most people I talked to didn’t like the second and third movies because they didn’t have a clue what was happening. I thought the plot was imaginative, but the directors obviously couldn’t go into great detail about what was going on without putting nearly everybody to sleep.
Instead of being able to go directly at what the matrix was, what was happening to Smith, and who/what was Neo, all the audience got was eight hours of Keanu Reeves looking confused.
There’s not as much limitation about that in a book. The authors could’ve been very clear about what was happening, and the whole atmosphere of “What the fuck is going on?!” would’ve been greatly alleviated.

I didn’t like that one just because I thought it was going to be a straight up boxing movie.
Needless to say that I wasn’t thrilled about the second half of the movie.

I think most people with more than two brain cells got what was going on. I think it was simply a victim of being overhyped after the following the first movie had. I though the idea was great.
I do agree that maybe it needed more development (like what could easily happen if this were a long running tv series), but I don’t think the movies were that bad at all. It is just the first one set a standard.
No Jurassic Park sequel was quite like the first one either…simply because no one had seen that before.
