5345 in theory. I sacked that idea off when it got to 8 days to go and i still couldnāt pick a kettlebell up pain free.

Today was a high gravity day, but i still got a lot of climbing done so iāll chalk that uo as a volume day and leave it at that.
In other news: looks like iām moving location sooner than i thought, so gym is likely out for the foreseeable. Back to the kettlebells and bodyweight stuff. This year has been very frustrating in terms of training, really struggling to find any rhythm.

Ran out of skin on my fingers, twisted an ankle on a stupid fall, skinned a shin on a stupid jump. Add that to the tweaky knee, dodgy wrist, crumbling lower back and fucked elbow and iām starting to feel my age.

Went with a mate from work, so lots of technique work and volume. Definitely feeling under recovered so will stop climbing until Monday. Give myself time to regrow some skin and recover ready for a new set.

Bouldering involves lots of words that only make sense to Boulderers.
I really try to avoid mentioning any of that stuff on here, but i probably slip up some times.
I try to only put the stuff thatās relevant to other training.
In other news: i think i solved the mystery of the disintegrating body and pisspoor recovery: i seem to have dropped about 7lbs in less than a week. Probably no surprise iām struggling to recover from pretty minimal volume.
This sounds more like the symptom, not the cause. Something to think about, perhaps?
The cause is being too busy and not eating enough food.
