Iāve tried looking back and i canāt see any training related links as to why iām getting the back pain, other than it being August. Maybe iām allergic to Augusts.
Either way, it seems to be simmering down to a manageable level so iāve packed gym stuff ready to get back at it tomorrow morning.

I considered that, but the last challenge was air squats, which i canāt see being an issue with upper back problems.
Perhaps simply accumulated systemic fatigue resulting in a breakdown at the most fragile spot. Similar to how I tore a tricep deadlifting
That makes sense. When i embark on these challenges, i tend to also up other training volume and the āinjuryā in my upper back is a common place for me to break if iām going to break.

Probably way off target now, but iām planning to keep plugging away and see if i can make up the difference.
I was watching the start of the Crossfit Games while doing these, and iām definitely losing interest in it. Thereās not many competitors i care about anymore, and add in the increasingly tedious and clownish programming, iām not sure iāll bother tuning in next year.
These two often go together for me too.
@simo74 I donāt want to be that guy that goes out with family and eats a salad because thereās nothing there that fits my macros. Seems to go against the entire point of this.
