Probably literally true, no-one needs to chalk a jug, but crimps get plenty of chalk. My post above is kind of simplified, not all big holds are jugs but i suspect big strong dudes with big strong hands like @Koestrizer will do much better with slopers and especially pinches than he would on crimps, especially as they tend to lend themselves to big, burly moves rather than balancey, techy ones.
My hands are actually comically small and not that strong either.
Mine too man. I think youāll find your forearm strength from strongman will stand you in good stead though.

You will quickly find there is a color coding system. Stick to the greens first (the big holds), maybe try a yellow here and there. If she has done it before, you are in big trouble, lol. Donāt get me wrong, you are strong as fuck mate, but you have the exact opposite features of what works best for bouldering.

Fun fact, my gym would use lime green as the 3rd highest grades (of 16 full sets), and yellow as the fourth highest. These things are really gym dependent. There will usually be some nice big posters around that will fill you in on the relative difficulty of various sets. Probably big enough to give a quick inconspicuous look on your way in so it isnāt obvious youāre choosing the easiest ones.

Honestly, it only takes a couple tries to figure out which ones are the easy ones, whatever color. If the big guy is color blind and not just pulling our legs, it gives him an excuse to cheat like hell.
I really am colour blind. Which obviously doesnāt mean that Iām seeing in black and white.
