Been obvious for a number of weeks that you were capable of this, not sure what took you so long to get around to it. Did you eat extra beans today?

@Cyrrex I was pretty sure 72.5kg was there, but I’ve been surprised by these things before. I was surprised how easy it was, and surprised by the 75kg, as grindy as it was. It was definitely pushing up the Simo scale. It also seemed to slow closer to lock put than normal as well, so some direct triceps work might be in order.

Amazing work getting here, I’m chasing you now! I would suggest a race to 80kg but I think you’ll hit it after some Christmas feeding!

It took me aboutba year to add that 5kg, so maybe next year’s Christmas feeding will do the trick.

Mine is about the only lift I’m consistently training for, so it’s about time.

  • Got some work in before the coughing got too dramatic. Decided against anything that could be compared to PRs and backed off for some volume work.

My families been struggling for a few weeks (8 actually, but who’s counting) with some pretty serious hacking coughs. Apart from affecting sleep and the endless CoVid tests, it hasn’t caused much issues until Boxing Day when me and the missus started throwing up with the coughing. Vomit has pretty much gone now, hence the training this morning. The coughs definitely haven’t gone though.

Ouch. Sorry about that friend.
