I forgot that you are a brit, and thus enjoy baked beans and innards on your pizza.
Baked beans are made for hot, buttered toast.
Pizza, in my opinion, should have sauce (obviously tomato based), cheese and assorted animal carcass. No exceptions.
Fight me, you British bitch.
I said take the piss, not fight. Youāre free to put whatever atrocities youād like in your mouth.
Pineapple and bacon is a winning combo on pizza, and no amount of piss-stealing will ever make me relent that fact.
At least youāre halfway correct this time.
Yup totally eaten baked beans on a pizza, not bad. Not sure on the innards, all meat is innards, so in that respect then yea baked beans and innards.
Weekly check in-thing: 199.8lbs. Massive weight increase, as fully expected with a belly full of fathers day food. Iāll still moderate my food slightly this week (or better still, find a way to earn it), in case this isnāt all binge eating bloat.
A few less workouts this week and a few more āthrow everything at itā sessions. Need to pull it back to more regularly scheduled programming though. Am also hearing the sirens call of high volume pish presses though, so we all know how this one turns out.
Work for today:
Press:
5 x 5 @ 50kg
Squat:
5 x 50kg
5 x 60kg
5 x 80kg
5 x 90kg
5 x 100kg
Leg Press:
10 x 150kg + sled
8 x 180kg + sled
6 x 200kg + sled
Walking lunges:
3 x 20 @ 20kg
Hamstring Curls:
3 x 8
SLDL:
3 x 8 @ 120kg
Rower:
500m

Notes:
It truly is awful, but I will say that you did it immediately after a pretty full on legs session, kudos and also that leaves some solid room for improvement. 300m was the wall for me too, felt absolutely rock solid until that point then it was like my entire body just gave up.
Not too shabby on the time (youāve got the 80 year olds beat on the WR!), great effort!
I was horrified to see that my gym has those exact same machines.
Almost as if the universe knew youād need to compete against anonymous internet strangers.
Or theyāre the most ubiquitous machine in all of gymdom - but either way @Cyrrex itās destiny!
Your log is an inspiration! Great way to stay accountable! Hopefully I can stay as motivated to log every week as you have!
Itās the only place I track my workouts and I believe 100% in the value of good training records. Iāve never regretted logging a workout, Iāve regretted not having that data to look back on frequently. Plus, itās great to have some conversation and banter among like minded people. I donāt get a lot of that elsewhere.
As a Californian, I take offense to that. Pesto pizza with non-meat toppings is what all the cool kids are eating.
Leave just leave.
Hey @dagill2 what weight is the sandbag you use for carries ?
@antiquity Iāve never been more grateful to not be a cool kid, that sounds awful.
@simo74 itās around 65kg, Iāll probably make it up to 70-ish and pack it a bit better soon.
Would you say itās a worthwhile investment? How do you find that weight for carries ?
