10 Miles Back Again

Don’t annoy him too much, after his 25min 5k, you won’t be able to run from him.

It’s pretty exciting, actually, we’re both imminently about to run 5ks and we will know definitively which of us is best suited to run from the other!

Work for this arvo:

Coach to 5k week something day something:

Its been a shit work week, so this was just a “get some work in” deal. Luckily its one of those completely out of place days that app lady throws in when she’s been hitting the crack pipe too hard: 2 x 5 mins runs and an 8 minute. Was really easy and while I wasn’t pushing it, I also didn’t find myself deliberately slowing down to make it through either.

T-ransformation week 10: 195.2lbs
As suspected, life has been fairly full this week. Diets been 98% compliant, hit 3 lifting sessions, 2 runs and all my planned daily work. Everything except the squats directly after a run felt pretty comfortable too, so I’m definitely counting this as a “win” week. Next week promises to be slightly more chilled so I’m planning a few lower calorie days, try and nudge up into 2-3lbs loss territory while still hitting all my training goals.

Just fucking keep chipping away mate. The magic is happening but you’re too busy with life shit to even see it.

Rooting for you man

Thats the hope man. Rome wasn’t built in a day, or whatever other cliche you want to use. Nothing too painful, nothing too dramatic. Just looking forward to putting a few calories back in and getting some mass built back up.

AKA Week 5 Day 2. How I remember it fondly.

@ChongLordUno Mate, I have about 250 different plans for mass gaining. Mostly around the food I’ll be able to eat again. Fuck, I love food.

@Cyrrex week 6, day 1 for me. The next one that I was due to do today is similarly easy though, 2 x 10mins.

Work for this morning:
7-6-5-4-4 pull ups/dips

Have brought a kettlebell in for later to get some extra work in.

Was planning a run and lift today but one sick child and another self isolating makes for no free time. This schools going back thing is a fucking disaster, what dumbass thought this was a good idea?

Do those plans involve not just straight up getting fat again? Because…

I am assuming because you’re a thinker you’ve got it well planned but curious as to what your plans are!

My instinct is to be offended but actually you’ve got me pegged so accurately there i can’t really argue.

My plan nutrition wise is just to hit the “I’d like to gain weight” button on CarbonDiet and doing what I’m told.

Training wise, I’ll probably switch back to a more traditional 531 set up: squat day, deadlift day, press day, bench day and just cycle through them as I’m able. Running will take a back seat, probably aim for one 30min run a week to maintain what I’ve built and other than that, conditioning will be centered around higher intensity stuff like barbell complexes, loaded carries, etc. Thats the basic plan

Have you visited the “AI” thread? If not, take a look, may make you think twice about what you just said :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
@SkyzykS

I’m pretty sure CarbonDiet doesn’t qualify as AI. Its not exactly doing complicated calculations.

Ahh okay. That makes sense- AI is a pretty common buzzword now

Not one that I’ve used.

An increasing number of companies are using “AI” tech or applying AI when it’s it needed because it sounds and is great for marketing

Same seems to be happening with blockchain

Thats nice. But again: I didn’t use the phrase AI.
