interesting I have read most of his books, but know nothing of the man.

Definitely Robert Howard. The man died way too young and Conan is such a legacy. Everytime I read him I wonder how much more he would have written.

Because of the humor in his books. Somewhat dry and misanthropic (if you read into it) but always insightful.
I would love to pick his brain over a pint or two!

Ha! Was in Atlanta three weeks ago on a quick trip and wondered how to reach you.

Will be in Houston tonight. Orlando over the weekend.

Maybe Derek will buy me that beer.
Where are you going to be in Houston? You flying into IAH or Hobby?

My ten. number 1 is far ahead of the next 9. The last nine are in no particular order.

 1. Jesus

 3. Moses
 4. King Solomon
 5. King Arthur
 6. Martin Luther King Jr.
 7. Gandhi
 8. George Washington
 9. St. Augustine
 10. Martin Luther

How about the ten people you would not like to meet? If I actually met them I would probably pound their face in.

 4. Obama
 5. Any Grand Wizard of the KKK
 6. Jesse Jackson
 7. Al Sharpton

Now Martin Luther would be a very, very interesting conversation. I didn’t think about him, good one.

Drink and conversation:

Hitler - Manishchewitz
Julius Caesar - Spring Water
John The Baptist - Jack Daniels
Benjamin Franklin - Blue Moon Beer
Hannibal of Carthage - Cazadores Tequila

Drink and 2 minute boxing match.

Jesus - Tap Water
Buddha - Mai Tai
Martin Luther King Jr. - Grey Goose Vodka
Thomas Jefferson - Mad Dog 20/20 (and make it a street fight)
Cochise - 1 shot of Jim Beam
Jesus did drink, John the Baptist did not… just pointing that out…
I think the point is that he can turn it into wine.
I like the idea everyone is cool with me wanting to fight Jesus :-)
I’d pay to see that. What would you do if he knocked back a couple of shots then just out of the blue sucker punched you like a seasoned pro?

I’d be too flabbergasted to really do much.
It’s why I made it a 2 min boxing match. The only one I think would be a easy fight is Buddha.

Jesus the man worked with hands, built homes, fished with nets on the ocean and beat a group of gamblers out of a temple. I think he was tougher than the movies made him look. Plus he would heal me after.
I feel like you’re just going for shock value here.

 1. My Dad
 2. Arnold
 3. Hitler
 4. Einstein
 5. Nietzsche
 6. Babe Ruth
 7. Socrates
 8. RA Salvatore
 9. Billy the kid
 10. Capone

I have a question. I have seen Hitler come up multiple times. Why would y’all want to sit down with Hitler?

The man was obviously a monster. Not everybody on my list are people I actually like. Regardless, Hitler is a huge piece of history and I have a lot of questions for him. Mostly, how could you? and things like that.
