Worst. Movie. Ever.
Spend $9 at the arcade or on a book/magazine you want to read. Comes in under 2 hours, full of cliche dialog and plot “twists”. CGI isn’t that spectacular. Action is nothing like the trailer which swirls around in a chaotic pace.
I didn’t have a doubt in my mind that the movie would suck. Roland Emmerich has joined M. Night Shamalamadingdong on the list of “directors whose films I will never pay to see.”
Rotten Tomatoes gave it a shitty review as well.
The Bank Job is the only movie out I want to see at the moment.
Two words-Roland Emmerich.
What did you expect?
what other movies has he done? Roland Emmerich that is

He started out ok with Stargate, then went progressively downhill with Independence Day, Godzilla, Day After Tomorrow, and now this hunk of poop.

That would explain. My fault that I don’t pay attention to the director or producer for movies.

Based on that body of work, I’d say Stargate was the best most definitely. Everything else, regrettable. I still want to see 10,000 B.C. though. Not a priority, but severe curiosity. Okay just for the saber toothed tigers maybe. There are some… right?
He should of stopped at Stargate. This movie looked like crap to begin with. I know you should keep an open mind and not expect an exact period piece, but come on now. You have to make some of it believable to catch your audience.
when the movie was first announced i was hoping it would be more akin to quest for fire, ie historical accuracy and no dialogue

Yep.
Only thing worth seeing: Sabertooth tiger scene.
Everything else: Gay.

Nope. Not even that. Pretty hot actress, no skin.
how can someone think Independence Day was bad? that was a great movie!
especially the president’s speech to the pilots before they took off for battle.
In my book Stargate was Ok-ish at best and Independence Day was awesome.
either way thx for saving me $10 bucks.
yes caveman sex i forgot about that.
also Ron Perlman

Light sabers?
As soon as I saw that it was by the person who did day after tomorrow I knew it would be bad.
