1 Cup = How Many Grams?

Guys, i know this is a stupid question but how many grams is one cup of blueberries and 1 cup of broccoli? Im following the diet advice given here:

unless they’re talking about a tea cup, that seems like an awful lot of blueberries to eat per day.

i would say 1 full size cup = 200+ grams blueberries is that correct?

A cup is 8 ounces. Use a real measuring cup, not a tea cup.

Also a cup is a measure of volume, not weight. The amount of grams in a cup will vary depending on the food.

If you want to measure grams, get a food scale.

You’re mixing up mass and volume. The only way to know how much mass is in a particular volume is to dump it onto a scale and weigh it. If you want to keep close track of your food, pick up one of those cheap kitchen scales. After a while you’ll become good at estimating the weight without it.

148 grams for blueberries
91 grams for broccoli raw, cooked may be a little heavier or lighter depending on how you cook them.
