Oh, aside from the Olympia titles, movie roles, Governorship, nuttin’ much.
^this. I hadn’t even heard of Zyzz until I ventured into thefederalist’s previous thread. But most people I know will have heard of Arnold.
I’m not hating on Zyzz. It sounds like he enjoyed his life. Good for him. But I’m not going to pretend that he achieved anything near considerable success.

I think this argument actually ended when you called out male strippers and models. Who are you to define success? Not everyone gives a shit about the world. In fact, not a lot of people do. There is no value in making the world a “better place” and “contributing”. Fuck that shit. There is no value in ANYTHING you do, so you might as well do what you want and do it right. Honestly, Zyzz is probably more widely known than a lot of doctors, physicists, mathematicians, etc… that made a “difference” and a “contribution” to this world.
I sincerely hope you are joking here.
If you are not, then your attitude is a major part of the problem. Just read over what you typed. It helps to prove, in every facet, my points. I think you actually just won this argument for me, so thanks. Enough said.

Imagine if the great doctors and scientists of history had had the same attitude as NP? We’d all still be dying before 50.

What?? Someone on this forum called me a “Cocksucker” for wearing cutoffs but this is okay? WTF man…

He was a 22 year old kid who created a massive internet following because he had a great physique (nicer than most posters here) and liked to talk about how awesome his life was and all the girls he banged owing to that physique.
He’s getting hated on because he wasn’t big enough for dudes on the internet to consider him impressive by bodybuilding standards.
Good physique? Check.
Sleeps with lots of girls? Check.
Understanding of his strengths? Check.
Willingness to exploit them to make a living? Check.
Makes money doing something he enjoys? Check.
22 year old kid making more money than many grown men? Check.
Yea, he totally sucks. Who’d want all of that.
I’m sorry he passed and sorry for his family.
Again, 210lbs at 6’1". You don’t have to obliterate your heart to weigh that much if you have 5 years to do it.
There are lots of kids cycling like retards, many of which I’m sure die long before they smarten up. Why is Zyzz so special?
If I had to chose between being me and being him; Me. No contest.
DID YOU NOT READ ANY OF WHAT YOU JUST QUOTED? he quoted himself saying fuck what anyone else says, be you, and be whoever you want, so you saying id chose me just afirms to Zyzz’s advice. Secondly none of the above has naything to do with steriods, and less to do with his body, he did and had a shit load of fun, looks better than me, and probably you. He didit. YOU DID NOT. stop being so god damn jelly over a guy who lived life to fullest because youre some grumpy old fuck who looks in the mirror and hates themselves, and works a meaningless job.

Literally nothing you said here applies to me.
I’m 18, for starters.
Yes, I’m jealous. In two years (which will be my fifth year training) I will weigh more than him without ever having touched steroids, but I’m jealous of him. He’s dead, but I’m jealous of him. Sure.
for a kid who did roids he sure had a pathetic mass aside from low BF. anyone can look like that naturally after a few years of training (muscle shape aside).
this wanker is not a role model, all he did was smoke pot and fuck girls (and i have yet to see a video of him fucking a girl so thats an assumption).
the kids who admire him are pathetic. you dont need zyyzzz to inspire you to shoot roids up to a defected heart.
for fucks sake…
you want to be inspired? look at bodybuilders who are around for 20-30 years teaching and educating people for better things other than pussy and pot chase.
and you dont need a six pack and 6% bodyfat to nail 17 year old girls in clubs. i see fat guys do that all the time.

I’ve never heard of this kid until he passed away last year.
But, comparing him to Arnold is just plain nuts. He was a 22yo guy who made the best of what he had and had one hell of a good time doing it. It’s just sad that he didn’t worry about his health a little more.
“Yeah I outweigh zyzz and I’m NATURAL…I don’t know why he had to take drugs”
Frank Zane competed at 187-195…Whoa I weigh that much–so I should look as good as he did, right?!
Steroids give you an entirely different look, completely independent of weight. You just can’t get that “look” as a natural…so stop talking about how your physique is, or is going to be, as good as his. It just won’t happen.

LOL at ‘anyone can look like that?’ … I know I aspire to have a better physique (IMO) but saying that anyone can achieve it is a bit silly. If his physique was so easy to achieve I doubt he would have been famous for it
so im guessing many aspiring bodybuilders dont need arnold/ronnie/dorian/lee to inspire them to do roids and aspire to something they achieved and are pathetic for admiring them.
he went from being your typical skinny teen to being a famous ripped guy, i don’t condone being a pothead but how does looking to achieve a better physique and better social status because of someones transformation make a kid pathetic?
sorry but in this generation, the guy with ‘six pack and 6% body fat’ has a better chance of doing so.
and plus its more to do with self-confidence and there is no denying a better body will give you that as well as so many other things in life

Tbh, if I didn’t know better, I wouldn’t think this kid was on roids. I don’t know what your talking about with this “steroids look”, but if someone showed a picture of Zyzz to me and said he got here after 5 years naturally, I’d believe it.
Funny how we’re being called the haters when it’s you guys who keep saying we’ll never look as good as someone with a BMI of 27.7 @ <8% body fat as though such an achievement is simply impossible without taking enough steroids to kill off a 22 year old.

Zyzz has what many considered to be the perfect physique. It’s true that most people would see his pictures, and want to workout more than say, when they see a picture of Ronnie, even Arnold was a bit too big for the average taste.
Which in a way, he did “re-revolutionized” the bodybuilding community by emphasizing beauty, form and content over SHOCK VALUE and just getting HYOOOOOOOOOOGEEEEEEEEE.
But people need to get off his high school year book, the LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST COZ WE ARE ALL GONNA DIE ONE DAY, FUCK WHAT EVERYONE THINKS philosophy.
I figured that out when I was 5 years old. Of course, nobody gave a shit what I thought then because I wasn’s shredded.
